Songpool muttered a curse word, then walked into the nursery. "Do your kits need anything, Owlfeather and Heathertail?" She asked, brightening up. It wasn't so bad.

Lighteningkit bounded around the nursery, giggling. She climbed onto her mother's head clumsily.

"don't worry we won't be to harsh on you" heathertail sympathized.

Sandkit jumped on lighteningkit's tail "die, little mouse" and hen she bit it.

Lightpaw began to itch with the want to run into the forest. But he couldn't. He didn't want more trouble for himself. He had to teach himself not to do stupid things anymore, though he had been told he was the one who did stupid things.

Snakeclaw ran out of the warriors den. He had heard the fight between them and knew se would be sad so he walked toward the nursery.
