Hiddenpaw laughed happily. He then shoved her off into her own nest.

Duskstar watched the apprentices before wandering over to the fresh kill pile.

Cassieclaw picked a squirrel off the Fresh Kill pile

Evepaw gave him a mock glare and settled down in her nest, "I'm gonna catch a mouse for Duskstar" she declared happily for no apparent reason.

Hiddenpaw watched her through one open eye, he smiled at her company. Evepaw was a great friend to him, without her he wouldnt be who he was. Hiddenpaw kept his eye open for some time before finaly slipping into sleep.

Duskstar sat in his den, he tilted his head thoughtfully.
"The gathering is the day after tomarrow..." he muttered. "I think I will take Hiddenpaw and Evepaw, It will be their first gathering. Boneclaw is a definat and Lillytooth would do."

Evepaw slept soundly and when she awoke she yawned and stretched. she had dreamed of a river, it was full of fish but then all the fish left and big dogs came. luckily she woke before she could find out what happened next and she looked over at Hiddenpaw's nest to see if he was awake yet.

Hiddenpaw awoke and smiled as he saw Evepaw. He yawned
"Lets see if Duskstar or Boneclaw will take us out hunting!" Hiddenpaw streached and quickly groomed his fur before walking out of the den.

Duskstar awoke in his den, he sighed and walked out to sit on high tree.

Pineclaw yawned as he sat down beside the low fresh kill pile.

Evepaw cocked her head to the side, "lets go hunting just the two of us!" she said, "then we can catch food and she them how strong we have become!" she mewed with excitement and trotted up to him

"Ok," Hiddenpaw didnt object, he bounded out avoiding Duskstar and Boneclaw before sneaking away with Evepaw behind him. He raced ahead before stopping to serch for prey.

Duskstar never saw the apprentices he just sighed, his mind was truobled and so he survayed the clearing.

Evepaw felt full of life as they sneaked about and she sniffed the air, "i saw some mice by the training area yesterday" she said thoughtfully. "they might still be there"

"Ok, but dont race we will scare all the prey off into hiding!" Hiddenpaw continued padding along "You know I like doing this, just me and you..."
