"Thankyou Shadowpaw," she bent down to eat a bit of the vole.

Pineclaw smiled dispite his injerys giving him pain
"If you continue the way you do I rekon you might,"

Dispite his tiredness, Duskstar got up and walked outside. He saw the kits below his den playing, he sighed and let out a yowl to sumon his clan
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here, beneath High Tree for a clan meeting!"

Pineclaw looked up as his leader sumond them, Duskstar gave a brisk nod for him to stay where he was. He nuged his apprentice forward
"You go and see what he wants,"

Greenheart peered through the entrance at the camp and just gave a nod to Duskstar before sitting back down to keep watch.

Lillytooth sat below the high tree, a few claw marks scarred her body, though nothing was serious. She had escaped the worst of the badgers wrath.

Hiddenpaw didnt move from where his body was slumped in greif, his mentor Boneclaw, had saved him from the badger that was to kill him. He pressed his nose into his former mentors fur muttering last goodbyes before his spirt left for Star clan.

Fernpaw looked up from treating cats and slowly sat at the edge of the meeting.

Snowfall sat beside the high tree
"Many of us cannot reach the tree, why call a meeting now?" she grumbled.

Duskstar looked down at his struggleing clan
"We will greive deeply for our deputy Boneclaw, but those badgers have done more damage than they should of done. Many warriors are badly hurt-"

"We can see that already!" Snowfall interupted.

"As I was saying," Duskstar continued with a flick of his tail at Snowfall "We are running low on warriors and I have to say five young kits are ready to become apprentices, though we do not have enough warriors to mentor them. I know it will be hard but these cats need mentors as well as Fernpaw and Hiddenpaw, we will have to have warriors share the responsibility to care for and train all the apprentices!" He dicided.

"Thats mousebrained!" Snowfall argued "How will cats like Pineclaw teach the young cats?"

Duskstar sighed
"I said teaching the apprentices was the duty now of every warrior and if a warrior is hurt, he or she is excused from their responsabilitys. Now to end this meeting on a lighter note, Magmakit, Edenkit, Firkit, Yewkit and Ivykit come forward." He lept down from the tree ready to star the naming ceramony.

(( Had to find a way to put everything so it made sence in clan life. ))

Magmapaw was thrilled, he was finally a true apprentice! Suncradle was so proud.

Leopardpaw straigtened proudly. "Thanks Pinclaw." But when he nudged her to join the meeting she stubbornly stayed where she was. "No, I'm staying with you." She meowed in a low tone.

Shadowpaw pricked her ears when she heard Duskstar call the clan meeting. She stayed where she was with her mentor though, because getting closer wouldn't help her much. She could hear him just fine from where she was.

(Sorry for being gone so long. My Dad blocked CS AGAIN! Ugh. Anyways, I will be on for a while today and tomorrow afternoon.))

Duskstar Rasied his voice so all his clan could hear
"By naming apprentices we can show that Darkclan will survive and remain strong, Magmakit from this day on until you recive your warrior name you shall be known as Magmapaw!" He called out reaching down to touch his nose to Magmapaw's and repeated the same for the rest of the kits.
"No mentors have been chosen here as of our previous disscussion, apprentices must ask a warriors permission before leaving the camp alone." He explained.

Pineclaw smiled and laid his head back.

Greenheart stared intently out into the forest.

Shadowpaw smiled. She remember when she had been made an apprentice.She had been so excited! Leopardpaw laughed softly at Magmapaw's excitment.

Magmapaw jumped around happily, he was finally an apprentice!

Duskstar smiled and flicked his tail in a dissmisive mannor, he then exited into his den.

Pineclaw sighed half releved that the other warriors would be training his apprentice while he got some rest.

Shadowpaw and Leopardpaw both glanced up at their mentors. Shadowpaw ask softly, "Would you like me to stay on watch with you? I have really good hearing since I can't see." She reminded her mentor. Leopardpaw grinned at Pineclaw. "I guess that means that you are glad you don't have to deal with me as much huh?"
