Suncradle nodded and watched the kits play happily, she kept one eye on the apprentices rebuilding the wall. She felt a strong urge towards Duskstar, then she knew. She loved him.

Pineclaw watched his apprentice and then gazed at a large bite wound on his spine.

Leopardpaw turned her attention to the bite wound. Licking gently and trying to clean it thoroughly without hurting Pineclaw too much. "How did this happen?" She ventured to ask at last. For once she didn't have a stinging remark for him.

Shadowpaw jumped up when Duskstar spoke. She heard Greenheart get up and Shadowpaw followed her. "I'll help, you need someone to clean your wounds also."

Pineclaw sighed
"The badgers were nearly in the camp so me and Duskstar fought one off, though it nearly bit Duskstar so I took the bite insted." He explained resting his head on the blood soacked ground.

Greenheart sat at the entrance and gazed up at the apearing stars ignoreing her little apprentice.

Magmakit sighed. He was SO bored. Edenkit lay on his back in the sun, fast asleep and Firkit was batting a dust ball between his paws. They were all six moons now, edging on seven moons.

Shadowpaw cleaned up her mentor's wounds and wondered why she was ignoring her. After she had cleaned the wounds, she fetched a vole from the pile and layed it at her mentor's paws.
