Mumblepaw nodded and ate the herbs. He shook his head as the taste hit his tongue. "Ugh... this stuff isn't very good is it." he joked.

Emeraldkit looked back when she heard her name. Cocking her head slightly she shrugged. "Sure I will go with Vixenkit." she mewed

citruskit nodded, but a bit disapionted that he didnt get to go with vixenkit anymore - he got along better her then with the rest of the kits, and secretly he was still feeling a little stung from specklekit earliar comments but he padded up to the tall tom anyways. "you see what way he went?" citruskit asked specklekit.

lotuskit skipped ahead of the others taking the direction her and wolfkit had been assigned "you coming?" she called to wolfkit - wanting to be the ones who found oakkit first.

"Obviously not, otherwise I'd be heading in that direction by now." Specklekit stated, as if it was a simple fact, common knowledge no doubt. "But you know him better then the rest of us. I mean, he is your brother after all. Any idea where he might hide?" Specklekit looked around, but he was flabbergasted as to where the minuscule tom would be.

Vixenkit bounded up to Emeraldkit, panting slightly at the other she-cat's side. "Where do you think he went? I'm surprised he managed to get away so quickly! One moment Oakkit was right there, and the next," before I got distracted, "he was gone!"

Squirrelsong paused for a moment, to give a whole hearted chuckle. "Even after moons of eating the stuff, I still haven't gotten used to the taste." She purred, her yellow eyes glistening. "I'm going to go notify Spiritstar, would you mind checking up on Piepaw, and checking the stores to see if we're low on anything?" She called over her shoulder as she made her way out of the medicine cat den.

Emeraldkit laughed. "I may have some ideas." she mewed gently hearding Vixenkit towards the spot she wanted to check first. "I want to add a spin to this. You up for it?" she asked mischievously

Mumblepaw nodded. "No problem!!!" he called. When Squirrel was gone he padded over to Piepaw. She had a pulse and he could hear her heart beat... but why wasn't she waking up? he thought to himself. "Please get better Piepaw... I will do my best to make you." he chuckled the last line. Padding away from her after making sure she was warm he checked the stores. "Ok so we are low on... borage, poppy seeds, and mint" he said to himself. "We don't need the mint but it helps... THE HONEY!!!" he exclaimed thinking about the hive that had started everything.

"You know I'm up for anything." Vixenkit whispered, her eyes darting around slyly and mischievously.

Squirrelsong detoured around the group of kits, shaking her head, though there was amusement in her eyes. But she was set on her goal, and certainly wouldn't let herself grow distracted. "Spiritstar." She mewed, no trace of hesitation in her mew. She could tell Spiritstar was in his den. She could hear his deep breathing and smell the sent of mingled pine and moss wafting from inside.

Emeraldkit bent low motioning for Vixenkit to do the same. "If we find Oakkit first... i want to lead the others away see if they are able to see through lies from friends." she whispered her emerald eyes glistening

Spiritstar looked up towards the entrance to his den. "Yes Squirrelsong?" he called invitingly to the medicine cat.

citruskit ignored specklekits first comment, determined to not let the tom get under his fur. slightly huffy he siad "he's a fair climber - but he doesnt do to well with heights, and he would've thought hiding in the ferns was boring at that it be the first place we look; my guess is up a tree" he explained, "i guess that doesnt really narrow it down to mush though ... seing as there hundreds of tree's" he siad thoughtfully

Viperkit bolted after the others trying to catch up, but sighed softly. She wanted to find Oakkit too, but the others were too fast, and much bigger. Being the runt in the litter didn't help at all. Her orangey-amber eyes dulled for a minute before she remembered who she was. I'm Viperkit, daughter of Rushingfur and Hawkspirit, I can do well almost anything. Including catching up to noisy clan kits! Feeling her confidence return with a new pep in her step, the black and grey she-cat bounded after the others.

"You always were the optimistic one." Fernheart purred, nuzzling her mate. Nightsound did have a way with words. He always knew just what to say when she was down. "Yet my stomach's growling. Every since you mentioned fresh kill..it does seem tempting. Want to join me?" She'd gotten to her paws, her muscles groaning in protest. She'd been so cooped up in the nursery lately, it'd be nice to spend some time with the Warriors.

Squirrelsong stepped inside Spiritstar's den, her lungs groaning in protest at her sharp intake of the dusty, stuffy air. She stifled a cough, eyes watering with the strain and cleared her throat instead. "Mumblepaw and I are leaving for the Moon Oasis at Moon High. Like I said earlier, we'll need a warrior escort with all the tension in the other Clans. We should be fine but I'd rather not risk it. Mumblepaw still hasn't had any battle training after all. Piepaw's doing well, though she's still unconscious. It might be smart if a warrior was assigned to watch over her." She reported. "But really what I came to talk to you about was my decision. You remember what I asked you? Well, I was coming to see if you had an answer for me."

Vixenkit cocked her head, a truly confused expression coming to her features. "What do you mean?" She asked.

"Not really. We live in mountains Citruskit, remember?" Specklekit remarked, trying to keep the scorn out of his mew. Honestly, though they'd never been outside of camp before, it wasn't too hard to keep track of their surroundings. "But it's as good a guess as any."

"I am glad to hear that my son has made a full recover so fast but it also worries me that Piepaw is still unconcious. If you think it wise then i will assign a warrior to her. I feel it is my responsibility to do this. As for your warrior escort i would like diamondfeather to go with you." he mewed standing up. He looked around and knew his den didn't look as good as it should. "As for your battle training... i will meet you in the middle you may train in the art of battle but your medicine cat duties must come before everything else."

Emeraldkit laughed lightly. "It means if we find Oakkit first we don't tell anyone. We try to lead the others away from Oakkit's position." she said

Mumblepaw sat in the medicine cat den. He looked into the small pool of water and cringed slightly. He looked horrendous. Liking his paw he slowly ran it over himself making sure to get every spot. When he was finished he looked magnificent.

Diamondfeather returned from a hunt. dropping two mice a bird and a squirrel on the pile.
