Frostpaws gaze shot up from Jaypaw, her ears pricked as she looked at the older warrior and said,"What is it?" distracted. Jaypaw shoved her off him with a mighty kick, knocking her to the side, and he jumped up and on top of her, pinning her as he panted,"Got you!" triumphantly. He got off her when she wiggled under him and they both looked at Wildheart confused.

Lionsoul called after her quiet enough for only her to hear,"Thank you Wildheart," as he then turned and padded away. Sorrow filled him. She had wanted to be deputy, and he knew that, so how could he accept the position and take it from the one cat he cared about most?

Wildheart walked over to stand infront of the two apprentices. "Your going to disturb every cat with your noise. Im going to take you outside the camp for some training." she said, waving her tail towards the entrance. "Maybe youll learn better techquie for fightin when you play your games."

Jaypaw looked excited and nearly ran out of camp, fur bristling with joy. Now maybe he would learn something about battling and be able to beat Frostpaw.

Frostpaw followed him more slowly, not feeling as enthused. She was happy to know how to fight yes, but didn't want to go out of her way to get better. Frostpaw was already a good fighter, it was mostly Jaypaw who needed extra training.

Shatterkit watched them leave, her eyes were still haunted-looking but she was better.

Wildheart walked behind them. "Be careful, dont run too fast!" she mewed before ducking out of the camp.

Frostpaw flicked her tail so Wildheart knew she heard her, then looked after her nimble footed friend who was running through the forest just ahead of her, jumping over logs and rocks with light paws and gaining lots of ground in no time. She called after her friend,"Jaypaw wait up!" and let her pase go faster to catch up to him sooner. 'If you get yourself in trouble it will take a lot of convincing for me to help you!' she thought crossly in her mind, but smiled in amusement at how much fun her denmate was having.

Jaypaw spead forward, clearing logs without a second thought and jumping over rocks like they were grains of sand. He smiled, feeling the wind in his fur and smelling the fresh scent of forest. His mouth watered when he caught the scent of a vole scurrying at the root of a tree, but didn't give it a second thought since they were battle training, not hunting. He faintly heard Frostpaw, since he felt like he were in his own little world, and began slowing down, looking around with wide excited eyes.

Wildheart hurried to catch them. "Slow down! we're almost there." she walked near them, looking around the forest for any un usual scents. She looked at the 2 apprentices. "Dont you want to save your energy for when we auctually get there?" she questioned, not knowing how they could have this much energy. They weren't even tired.

Frostpaw looked at Wildheart confused, but then Jaypaw explained,"Were full of energy still, don't worry," he reassured, smiling at her happily. Soon they were walking onto the hard ground of the training hollow, and Jaypaw's eyes were wide with wonder, everytime he walked into the hollow he would get a sence of history since all the warriors in the clan were trained here.
