Missy smiled "Nexus I'm not ill physically. I've just been having some bad dreams and they're taking a toll on me."

OOC: Just to clear it up, Nexus doesn't have a creepy voice or anything, just sort of a... lisp.

Missy nodded and went back to staring at the water.

Nexus crept through the rainforest, looking for some prey (which I have not named yet), but then he stopped dead. A Cantor stood before him, its black antlers and foamy mouth glistening. Nexus turned and ran as fast as he could.

OOC: A Cantor is a regular looking deer, specifically a buck, with black antlers. A bite or scratch from them contaminates with a deadly disease.

Missy left the stream and headed back for their camp.

Nexus ran, until he was far away. Then, he sniffed the air, trying to scent some prey.

Missy stopped about halfway to camp. She had heard a rustle in the bushes, her senes kicked into high alert.
