The Earth pony was silent a moment, waiting to see if the other had heard her. White bangs hung messily in her eyes and she attempted to blow them out of the way. The gesture probably appeared silly, but then again Corn Silk herself was rather odd in her own ways. A wave of relief washed over her as the Pegasus landed neatly and approached. The mare always had been a social pony and even in this new town that made no difference. "Um yeah, sorry to bother you." She began, emerald gaze meeting golden "I'm sort of new here- I was wondering if you happened to know if there were any videogame stores around here?" Corn titled her head slightly to the side, a friendly smile playing her features.

Moonrise

Another moment of silence came upon her as she thought. Her memory was blank when it came to 'video game stores.' Why would an earth pony need games, not actual intellectual games, to entertain themselves? The pony was trying to be casual but it didn't help her suspicion. "I'm sorry," Moonrise admitted,"I don't believe there are any. Might I ask who are you? I do not think I've seen you around here." The final part was true. She knew that this small town was getting awfully popular for vacations for the more famous like the Wonderbolts.But she had never seen this earth pony before. Surely she would remember those blazing green eyes if the pegasus ever saw it.

Her heart sunk as she replied. No gaming stores? Nothing new to add to her ever growing collection and addiction? What sort of town didn't have a store offering the joyous entertainment of videogames. "That's a shame then." She spoke soft, yet simply, not giving away how truly disheartened she was by the answer. Corn Silk flicked her fluffy tail slightly in awkwardness. It took a moment for the comment to register fully. She hadn't even introduced herself before flinging her question on the purple mare. "Sorry, should've introduced myself first." The pale yellow Earth pony offered an apologetic smile before nodding. "Corn Silk." That usual bubbly attitude picked up once more. Even if they didn't have any game stores, she'd still make the most out of her new home. "I just moved here a few days ago actually."

Moonrise

Everything seemed to be a little awkward between her and the other pony, Corn Silk she had called herself. It seemed both of them were pausing after they spoke. Moonrise surely did not want to seem rude to Corn Silk. After all, she had moved here recently. "Moonrise," The pegasus said with a weak smile,"Pleased to meet you. I could show you around town, since you're new here." Even if some ponies thought she was menacing, the mare wanted to be more inviting to newer ponies such as Corn Silk. Morganchester was not a very large town but it would be good to know where to go.

Moonrise. She played the name over in her head a couple times as if trying to make sure it was remembered. She always did have trouble remembering names. At first she had doubts the pegasus would be friendly, but Corn Silk was glad she was wrong. The mare seemed nice and genuinely wanting to help her. "Well nice to meet you then." She smiled with a slight nod of her head as if to emphsize the point. "Sure, that'd be nice." Her usual kindness began to show through, the next statement lightly joking with a giggle. "My navigational skills are horrible, I'd probably get lost in a puddle if it were possible."

Moonrise

"Great! I'll show you the most popular places first. Try to keep up." Moonrise said with an adventurous half smile. Her dark wings unfolded and propelled her upwards. Of course she stayed only a few hooves above the ground, and less above Corn Silk. Gently she flew west towards one of more narrow streets. Her first destination was Frost's Tunes. Corn Silk seemed like someone who would enjoy a good song. Plus many ponies "hung out" there often. The new earth pony couldn't be hurt by meeting the other residents. The ponies in this town were all friendly. Moonrise considered all of this while slowly floating towards the music store.
