He woke up with a sneeze, before shaking the clumps of moss and twigs out of his pelt, and leaving the den in search of MeadowFlight. He grabbed a mouse from the fresh kill pile and ate in silence. He sneezed twice, before meowing a hasty good morning to her as well. "Can you gather a dawn patrol?" He wheezed. Flicking his tail in acknowledgment, he turned around, and went to see where AcornPaw was. He himself was going to see her, since his cold seemed to be getting worse every day. He went to see the new kits. "Soon they will be good strong warriors!" He purred. (I have returned!)

the cream she-cat pads across the clearing, towards the nursery. she remembered ashenwing had recently had her litter of kits, and milkfeather had wanted to see them. she crouches, listening inside. she could hear ashenwing's voice, as well as the tiny squeaks of her kits. she could also hear their leader, goldenstar. she takes a step back, pinning her ears back nervously. "i'll come back later."
she mutters to herself, spinning around and deciding to go hunting instead.

he jumped as goldenstar came in and then stepped backward to let the leader look at their new kits. he flicked his tail and went quietly out of the nursery. "I'll be back later," he promised his mate.

dropping into a crouch. "i'm going to steal all of your prey, and destroy your camp with my big claws!" milkfeather pretends to be a badger for their game, arching her back to make herself look bigger.

If Cherrynose was listening to Berryfall he gave no open invitation for her to continue her line of thinking. The audacity she had to reprimand him on how he trained his apprentice would have set him on pins and needles but he merely folded his paws under his chest and regarded her with token apathy. “Your opinion is noted.” Closing the discussion of Sweetpaw and his tutelage unless she dared to crudely force the issue in front of Howlfur. His sharp eyes trailed away from the she-cat to settle onto the warrior. “What of you, Howlfur? No further bleeding?” Almost as an afterthought he added, “I’m betting Berryfall didn’t even shred any dock to put into your bedding, did she?”

Mooncatcher’s ear twisted at the soft sound of Goldenstar’s footfalls and the suppressed wheeze of his voice. Worry brandished itself, clear and sharp, at the off stuttering in his breathing, or in the way his voice crackled as though from disuse. “I’m sure they’ll be fine additions to the clan, you two.” Addressing the happy parents before depositing the gathered moss beside Ashenwing for her to relocate to. The dirty set would be swept out and disposed of but for now, the she-cat changed targets and looked imploringly to their leader. “Haven’t been to see the medicine cat’s yet?” A faint mew laced with worry as she butted her head against his shoulder, as though to urge him to take better care of himself.
