Moonstripe had noticed when Creekpaw ran across the camp, playing with Leopardkit, and she watched with soft eyes. Her tail was curled around her feet as she watched the two play until she noticed the time it could have been by now. She stood back up and gave a goodbye nod to Skypaw and trotted over to the two ball of furs. "Creekpaw." She meowed as he rolled on his back so that Leopardkit could land on it.

The smaller golden spotted tabby kit landed on the larger black tom with a "Ouff!" Leopardkit lay ontop of Creekpaw for a few heartbeats before she opened her jaws. She shot forwards, trying to steal the ball of moss.

Creekpaw struggled under Leopardkit's weight for a moment, then rolled so that he was pinning the kit. He kept the moss ball tight in his jaws, but then soon dropped it when he saw his mentor. He got off Leopardkit and looked up at Moonstripe, "Yes, Moonstripe?" he asked, he half wanted to go training, but half wanted to stay and play with Leopardkit for a while longer. The black tom flicked his tail nervously, maybe they weren't doing either. Maybe Moonstripe was unhappy that he was playing instead of training? No, if she was she would sound harsh.

The white pelted warrior was about the same size as the apprentice. "We should work on your hunting skills a bit more if your done playing with Leopardkit." She said it nicely, not as if she was accusing him of doing wrong and her eyes showed that she was not mad. She looked over at the moss ball that they were playing with and slightly, it was good the apprentice was willing to play with the younger kits. It made her feel that Creekpaw would be a passionate warrior and know right from wrong.

Creekpaw nodded, his eyes gleaming brightly. "Alright!" the black tom excitedly mewed, "I've been practicing my technique for stalking birds," he then added, but started to frown and looked back at Leopardkit. "When we get back, can I play with Leopardkit again?" he asked, his long black tail twitching anxiously. He enjoyed playing, and hunting, and wanted to continue but had to force back a yawn since he hadn't slept much over the past moon. He didn't know why, but he blinked to try and cover it up, but knew it probably wasn't working so he just looked at his mentor, still, almost like a shadow doing absolutely nothing.

Birdpaw nodded and followed Lightstar, keeping quiet as usual. She never talked much, no one was really sure why, neither was she for that matter. She just didn't like talking that much.

Moonstripe slightly smiled and nodded "Of course." Moonstripe could see a tiredness in Creekpaws eyes that made her think twice about going to hunt. "We will try make it quick." She meowed and looked at Creekpaw then walked over to the entrance to exit the camp. She cast a soft glance at Leopardkit and a small smile, almost apologizing that she had to take Creekpaw away from the small kit. She was thinking that Creekpaw could show her a few moves he had learned and catch a few birds for the pile and then they could do what they please later. Her tail twitched slightly as she waited and she looked at the entrance of the camp.

(I don't think Spirit Lion posted for Lightstar after that, and it's only been two pages so not much has happened. I joined with four cats Icepelt, deputy, Patchfur, warrior, Rosepetal, elder and Creekpaw, apprentice. Deerfoot and Nightstream were arguing and Creekpaw and Leopardkit were playing.)

Creekpaw watched as Moonstripe walked over to the entrance. Before the tom followed her, he turned to Leopardkit, "I'll be back later, we can share a bird if you like?" he suggested smiling, if he did actually manage to catch a bird anyway. He had been practicing, but his technique wasn't that good anyway. Creekpaw let out a soft laugh, "We have a game to finish anyway." he gently licked Leopardkit's cheek, "See you later!" he called as he bounded after Moonstripe, his claws beginning to flex as the tom's mind filled with excitement. He would do his best to impress his mentor!

Warrior (Deputy?) ☾ In Camp ☽ With: Deerfoot and AutumnFang

"Ooh, no, don't get me wrong, I'm coming," I replied smoothly, flicking my tail and walking towards the entrance to the camp. I picked up Autumnfang's uneasiness towards me and I welcomed that as a challenge to prove myself, yet again, as I had to keep doing over and over again. I am no different from any of you! My gaze sweeps around the camp. I am a warrior of the code and they will know it.

I hurried after Deerfoot and caught up with him, matching his quick steps with my long strides. "Gesh," I whispered to Deerfoot, glancing back at the following shadow (Nightstream). "That was harsh!" I muttered, shaking my pelt as if to shake off the cloud that had hung in my mind. I set my mind set to mode hunting. I will bring back enough freshkill to feed all the elders! I silently set the goal in my mind, wanting to serve my clan as much as possible and abide by the amazing code. I could just picture the prey almost falling into my waiting claws.

I nodded my head, still a little ashamed at my mistake but then raised my head to find Spiderpaw snickering at me. I gave him my best glare back but then got a sudden idea. I skipped up to him and said, "Hello Spiderpaw! Isn't it just a wonderful, beautiful day?! Perfect for a patrol!" In the most cheerfully annoying tone that I could come up with. I brought my bright green gaze up to look at the blue sky and swept my tail around the late spring morning for effect.

I sighed and my stomach grumbled but I ignored it, like always. I usually didn't fetch my own food, for I was normally far to busy, making my build thinner than most warriors. Not seeing my apprentice right away I ducked back into the coolness of my den and began shifting through herbs, going through the old dried out ones and separating them from the fresher new ones. I shook my head thinking, My apprentice should be doing this for me... I sneezed and examined the fresh compared to the old. There was to many old and not enough fresh. If there was to be an outbreak in a sudden illness...I wouldn't be ready, I realized with dismay, shaking my head once again.
