Bluepaw opened her mouth to speak, but nothing but a wheeze came out. She cleared her throat and tried again, but another wheeze came out.

"I have to watch the kits," Thrushleap replied dryly. Why don't you go take a walk with Carlee? she thought bitterly.

Mistyclaw shook her head vigorously. All of it was bad.

If all of it was bad, then Ice wanted to know why they were here. She pointed outside, then tilted her head once again. She turned to Carlee, and tilted her head at the she-cat. She wanted to show her something, she could tell.

Stripestar looks at her and mews. "They are old enough to not be watched. So please come with me. I hate seeing you like this." He nudge her as he purrs. He place his paw on hers and wrap his tail around her. "Please." Falcondusk looks away and mews. "But Pikeflower doesn't want us to be together."

Mistyclaw sighed. She was so stressed and frustrated, that she couldn't even think straight.

Bluepaw raised her tail for silence. "I-I need to think," she meowed, frustrated.

Thrushleap;;

Thrushleap moved away from his tail. "They cannot be left alone in this environment. So why don't you go take a walk with Carlee?" she growled.

Carlee;;

Carlee beckoned her again, intending to show her how she could get water first.

Falcondusk looks at her and mews. "I am leave tomorrow." His tail flicks as he looks away. Stripestar looks at her as he mews. "No I wanna walk with you, Thrushleap."

Mud was starting to get tired, so he hopped down from the sink and shook out his fur, then went to curl up next to his mother and father. He had seen a really pretty she-cat, but didn't want to say anything. Rosekit looked really pretty, and he planned on looking his best when he introduced himself to her tomorrow.

Beaver bent over to lick his son's head. He looked at Laurel and licked her ears, even though she wasn't asleep.

Mistyclaw looked around wearily. "Bluepaw, I think, I'm going to go to sleep." She said, her tail lashing behind her.

Petaldrop had been long asleep, tired since she had to make an effort of catching up with the group. She had fallen asleep next to Foxfall. He made her feel safe.

Waterpaw settled down in the spot where she had seen her father last, then closed her eyes.

Leopardstripe licked Sparrowkit's ears. "Come on, you need sleep." He murmured, then started nudging her out of the kitchen.

Dandelionkit was still cuddled up next to her mother. She was afraid, and wouldn't sleep until she knew what was happening.

''Okay.'' Sparrowkit said. She walked away from the cold box and pushed the door so it closed. ''Where do we sleep?''
