She lashed out with a forepaw her claws connecting with Hollypaw's muzzle. Crimson blood began to well at the wound. "You betrayed my trust once before Hollypaw. Do you know what else Six told me? After you told me you loved both me and Wolfgaze she said that she heard you say you only said you loved me to make me feel better." She took a step forward trapping him in the corner of the den. "Don't you ever call me your mate again! You mean nothing to me!" She snarled.

The same words rung inside Hollypaw's ears. "Don't ever call me your mate again!!" Hollypaw gritted his teeth and lashed his claws at Briar's ear. a small chunk of her ear fell off, and he ran away, hiding under a ditch, and rolling himself in mid to hide his smell. He sobbed quietly.


(Alright, i've made my decision. I'm going to kill Hollypaw by being run over by a car. Oh, Emerald, can I still be one of Briar's kits?)

"Yes?" he said, but suddenly went cold right after. The smallest kit had stopped moving. He quickly went over to the young kit. He licked it vigorously, not wanting to believe the terrible fate it had gotten. "No..." He said, feeling tears stream down his face. He buried his muzzle in the kit's tiny body. "You were a fighter." He paused, feeling him choke over his words. "Starclan looks over you now."

Tigerstrike touched her nose to Oakstorm's ear to comfort him. Grief stung her belly as she shuffled closer to the two, her pelt brushing both of them as she sat there, silently grieving with them.

She turned and pelted after Hollypaw following his scent trail. He had hidden his scent too late. She had found him. The she-cat stood over him blood dripping down the side of her face. She leaped forward her claws sinking into his shoulders. She grabbed his scruff in her jaws and shook her head tearing at his skin.

The she-cat gazed down at the kit. She gently rested her tail tip on its shoulders. "Follow me little one." She meowed softly her voice kind. She began to lead the way towards star clans hunting grounds.

"Kill me Briar." He softly chuckled. "I deserve it after all." His eyes grew wide as lights appeared on the stone below them. He turned his head to see that there was a car coming. He shoved Briar out of the Blackpath. "LOOK OUT!!" He cried, only to be hit by the car, launching across the street. The car screeched to a stop, and a human bent over at Hollypaw's body. it then entered the car and drove off.

She stared at the spot where Hollypaw had been hit by the car. Tears welled at her eyes, she had hated Hollypaw after all he had done to her. But not even he deserved such a horrible death. She crouched at the edge of the path tears splashing onto the dark stone.
