Cloud smiled and nodded. "That would be fine! Also, thank you!" Cloud said happily, looking up at the warrior. Even though there was a fox roaming nearby, Cloud felt safe and even happy. He was sure that even though Bat kept on her emotionless demeanor she felt the same way.

Bat looked at the nursery, slightly annoyed by the warrior. Although she understood why he was treating them like they had no clue what they were doing, she thought that he could at least try to treat them like they were more mature. She was a cat who was more independent and she liked doing things on her own. She knew that she'd have to get used to giving and getting help.

She shook her head "Rainwhisker I think they know what to do, they must be very mature to be all alone for that long" she said as she tried to re-assure him. She looked at bat and cloud and asked "do you need us to stay with you or bring you anything?" She purred Yet she was worried.

Rainwhisker looked at Sparrowclaw and sighed. Yet he knew he had gone a bit over the top. If the kits needed anything they would ask, and they needed to think for themselves if they were going to make good warriors. Rainwhisker hoped with all his heart they would get chosen to be special and not end up like him. But he knew from experience it would be better if they both got to stay together and not get split up.

Eaglestar nodded "Of course i'm sure." he replied. "I trained you after all, so I know better than anyone if you're ready or not." he chuckled a little. "You may even become leader one day Hayspots. So we might as well have you leading patrols and such." he said. Flicking his ear he turned his head "Did she say fox?" he said, frowning slightly.

Puddlejump frowned pinning his heads. He cast a glance towards the apprentice den but only saw Stormypaw and Cricketpaw outside of it. "Is she alright?" he asked looking back at Peonydapple. "I worry about her.." he sighed. "She had an unfair start, and I don't want her future to be compromised because of that." he shook his head.

Sorrowstep followed her instantly, her paws pounding against the cool ground. Trying to make as much noise as possible. She let Hollytail lead the way, this was her idea anyways and Sorrowstep wasn't sure she could completely trust her own judgement with the fox. Last time she had, she'd been young, but she'd made a mistake. "At least it's only this one!" she called out to Hollytail. "It would be worse if it was a Mother and kits! But I think it's still too early for that!"

Rainypaw trotted after her mentor happily. Once she came into the stick she just ran into it. She didn't trip, managing to keep her footing. Just simply ran into it, stepped on it trying to break it, and then continued on her way happy as ever. She looked up at Smokepatch and smiled "Okay! I'm ready!! Show me what you got!" she cheerfully purred.

Stormypaw made a face "Yuck, argh I hate that smell." he grumbled. "It doesn't come off and you can't do anything about it! I mean the stuff tastes terrible so it's not like grooming yourself helps it only makes it worse." he shook his head. "I don't see why we're the only ones who do it. Why don't the warriors do it too?" he asked. "I get it, they're not training, but how is plucking ticks training us for anything Cricketpaw?" he asked with a frown. Stormypaw was pretty skeptical about a lot of things they were told to do. He didn't quite understand what it had to do with being a warrior. He didn't see it as learning respect or being helpful he saw it as horrible tasks no one else wanted to do. So they must forced it on them instead.

"No, it's not, that's the good thing," Hollytail replied. "Watch your step, here it comes!" she shrieked. The fox was bounding after them. It was gaining gradually, but Hollytail thought they'd be at the tree before it got them. And then it came. Hollytail curved around the bend and lept into the old oak. She turned, waiting.

Cloud looked at Sparrowclaw when he heard her voice. "Some moss would be fine, but after that we'll be fine." He said, smiling at her.

Bat looked at her brother for a split second before going ahead of him into the nursery. It was in the center of the camp, and completely empty. She guessed that there were no queens in the clan at the moment.

Following Hollytail's lead Sorrowstep leapt up into the tree, claws sinking it for a moment as she almost lost her grip before she pulled herself up properly and breathed a soft sigh of relief. She shook her head "Nasty thing." she spat before she looked at Hollytail "Well." she then laughed "Eaglestar should be pretty pleased with you now at least." she said. "Last thing he wants roaming around is a fox close to his camp." she said.

Cricketpaw agreed with every word that Stormypaw said, "I have no clue,
Dawnpoppy always told me its something to do with respect I dont get
what she meant by that. Are we respecting the fleas for making us clean
out the elders!"

Eaglestar was right, he knew Hayspots best. Though Hayspots had never
wanted to be the leaders apprentice but he did enjoy the feeling that
Eaglestar had when he believed in Hayspots. With a small pause he turned
to turn in the direction "Fox? We haven't had one of those since I was a kit?"

"Oh hello Riverclaw." With a small jump the shecat had starteled him,
"Pretty good, what about you?" He said giving her a small nuzzle. Riverclaw
was his assigned mate so he kinda needed to love her, but he did care for
her deeply besides that fact.

Hollytail laughed. "I hope he is. I just try to be more sensible then Sparrowclaw, and that's not hard," she said. But then, she pricked her ears. The fox had just run right past the tree. "I hope he runs until he drops dead from exhaustion," Hollytail growled. The fox was an ugly, mangy thing. Besides, it had tried to kill the kits and invade their camp!

Fleetingpaw raised her head from her spot near the medicine cat den, she was a bit startled when Hollytail had suddenly yowled, "Fox!" though the rest of what the she-cat had said were tuned out when that one of the medicine cat apprentices went back into deep thought. But her deep thinking was disrupted once again when the scent of two kits had wafted slowly into the clan, causing the green-eyed mixed she-cat to lightly growl that her attention span was a bit... short (the exaggeration of a bit being probably really/very short out of all the days that it could've been). The mostly brown-colored she-cat huffed and tried to go back deep in thought without getting... distracted, by her own curiosity that is.
