Batpaw inwardly was gasping for air. This was the nicest he could ever remember his mentor being... what was going on? The ebony tom nodded, before swishing his long tail slightly. Well, if his mentor was making a subconscious effort to be nicer, perhaps he should try and do his part. "Thank you," the medicine cat apprentice murmured honestly, his milky eyes flashing relief. "Don't all cats?" he then added, turning his head towards the sky as he calculated the time it was; after doing that, he turned back to Windtail. "Do we need any herbs?"

He lightly smiled, his gaze softening. He thought a moment over BatPaws question."New kits are being born, so we should try to find some borage leaves. Also, we should start stocking up some chervil and yarrow. Might as well get some moss." He meowed and got up, stretching his paws lightly."Mind joining me?" He asked calmly.

Grainclaw quickly tried to hush the unhappy kit. Rhythmically grooming her and whispering, "hush, it's alright, hush."

I suppouse this would be a good time to make the kit forms. Is it alright if I make RabbitKits form myself?}

The kit didn´t stop her crying for a while. But yet, after a good half an hour, the kit calmed down and was now gently panting from all of the noise she had made.

Sunpaw yawned after a well-earned nap, then noticed Batpaw and Windtail were gone. Herb hunting is my guess. She thought. She heard kit mewls, then padded into the nursery. It had been almost an hour since the kits had been born, and it seemed like they had been there for moons. She sighed, then stood up, stretching. She looked around the den, seeing that some of the herbs she collected from earlier still needed to be set out to dry. She grabbed the bundles she had from earlier, then started sorting them into neat lines to dry. As for the cobwebs and poppy seeds, she put them in their appropriate stores, finding there was nothing else to do. She sighed, then noticed they had no wet moss. Just like her mother had told her about Yelowfang, ShadowClan's and ThunderClan's medicine cat had done, and started to dig a small hole in the earth for the moss to be in. She left the den with moss in her jaws, going to a nearby puddle that was clear, then took it to the hole, repeating it until there was enough water to last, then set the moss down, covering it with a few large, green leaves.

Leafkit moved, hearing the new kits cries. He mewled, then used his paws to cover his ears, putting his head under some moss to try and block out the noise.

She curled around her young kit, covering his ears with her tail as she tried to give him the quiet space he needed. She lifted her tired head, looking towards GrainClaws litter."That white-kit sure is rowdy. Is she sick?" She asked, tilting her head gently.

He started to purr gently at the touch of his mother's soft tail, then soon fell back asleep soundly, his flank heaving softly as he feel into a deep sleep. The golden tom's short tail was flicking a little bit as he was sleeping, almost like he was dreaming.
