"You are exiling Tempest. He must have done something against your code, or else you would not be exiling him. If he is capable of doing something so horrible as to receive an exile, then surely you could understand that he could do this to us, right? You would not be exiling him for a small crime." Shadow made sure not to reveal that he knew of Moon's death, as that would give it away that Turtle and him had worked together. The tom felt like he was hitting his head against a brick wall. It was hard to get through to Gaze, and he had come with the expectation that he would be easy to break. It was only a matter of time and effort.

"We still need to investigate, but it couldn't have been his fault," Gaze answered, feeling more than a bit cornered, "Tempest has done nothing. This is nothing more than a simple precaution! And Turtle... I don't care who you befriend, but I don't want you bringing unfamiliar cats to the clan. We don't need anymore danger, understood?"

//Fox, the surgeon apprentice, is learning battle moves with Rumble.
Tide and Snaggletooth are shark hunting, and Flower is wanting to make Tide jealous somehow so she can get him to notice her.
Tempest, the leader, was accused of killing a kit named Moon, when it was really Turtle. Turtle led the band of rogues that lives on the main island to the tribe's camp where she is trying to convince Gaze that Tempest hurt them too. They gave themselves wounds to make it appear like he did it. The goal for Turtle is to make Gaze resign and be exiled alongside Tempest so Shadow (the rogue leader) and her could take over.
Until Tempest is proved innocent, and Turlte guilty, the clan is in chaos over who killed who and who did what.
