So, what exactly is going on, other than the volcano blowing? Is the Clan still near it, or..?

"My ear? Nothing! My ear is fine!" She said quickly, turning away in a attempt to hide it. She had no idea what it looked like but she had a feeling it wasn't pretty. "I-I have to go." She said, and began to look for Thornpaw.

Rose claw looked at her and thought *why is she acting weird about her ear?*

Thornpaw was inside the cave, coughing up smoke and laying in pain. His tail pretty much healed up into a bob, even though there was a scab left where the tail was ripped off. He then looked around for Tinypaw.

[despairz]

"Help!" Silentpaw yowls, then breaks down in a coughing fit. "Help me!" She yowls again, leaping back and away from a flaming branch.

Thornpaw heard another yelp of help, and raced to his paws, racing down to where a fire was still going on. He could see a small cat figure, but only slightly because of the build up of smoke. He raced in the forest anyways, grabbing the apprentice's scruff of her neck, dragging her out of the flames with great pain. Once he got her to the cave, Thornpaw collapsed on the ground and went into a deep sleep, pain rushing in and out in huge waves.

Silentpae flops down and fights to take in air; too much smoke had gotten to her. She coughs and convulses, her body sending pains through her. Many burns covered her fur and ashes covered them, making them get infected.

[.Yin.]

Tinypaw gasped. "Thornpaw! Silentpaw! Wake up!" The small apprentices nudged her friends. She flopped down next to Thornpaw, curling up next to him. She rested her chin on his back and whimpered accidentally slipping off to sleep.

[Pumpkin Cupcake]

Thornpaw woke up to see Tinypaw resting on him. He smiled, coughed up a small bit of smoke, then nuzzled the apprentice awake.
