Dove struck the Tom with force, sinking her claws into the Tom's shoulders and slid one paw and claws down his flank.

Shadowpaw winced in pain but pushed it away, recovering. He wasn't here for a fight so he just nudged Shade in the direction that they came in. "Let's go," he meowed.

She let out a snarl, ignoring the tom's words. If the white she-cat was going to pick a fight, Shade would at least fight back. She crouched and turned to look at Dove. Her eyes showing her rage and years of practice.

"Shade," Shadowpaw repeated, a bit more firmer this time, "Let's go."

She shot a glance at him before sighing. Shade walked up to the tom and gave one last glare to the she-cat before disappearing into the bushes.

Eventually, they arrived back at camp. Shadowpaw, after walking in silence, said, "Shade... you're in no shape to fight, and you know that. So why did you try to?"

The fae simply shrugged and continued walking," I guess I'm just use to fighting when I'm not in a good shape." She said her voice shaking ever so slightly, though she was careful to keep it in check. Shade was not going to break down in front of anyone, even if they were her friend.

"Well, you won't be in bad shape for long. I'll have my sister, Dewdrop, and Skullheart patch you up real nicely." Shadowpaw purred, gently brushing up against her comfortingly.

She smiled, it was genuine. Unlike her other smiles to most, well actually... She didn't really smile much but still. ( xD yaay me!) She gently laid her head on the tom's shoulder, supporting herself with his weight.
