"Is it worth it, can you even hear me? Standing with your spotlight on me. Not enough to feed the hungry."

Ghostfang stared down at the two apprentices, looking quite amused with Silentpaw's quick obedience. She was a loyal cat, though the way she accepted fault so easily was something that would need to be worked out of her. He didn't need a young cat with no fight in her. With a gruff voice, Ghostfang spoke again. "You're awfully compliant, Silentpaw." With a flick of his ears, he looked to Whitepaw, but the young tom was keeping quiet and polite while mentor addressed apprentice. "I want the two of you to clean out the apprentice's den. Any left over engery after that can be spent hunting. " There was no sign of Whitepaw's mentor, Soulheart, so Ghostfang didn't bother with sending the white and brown apprentice away.

"Come find me or one of the other warriors when you are finished." After another glance at the two, he padded away, heading for the entrance of the warrior's den. Though he didn't actually enter, and sat just outside, looking like his usually cold self.

"I'm tired and I've felt it for a while now."

"When you're happy like a fool, let it take you over. When everything is out, you gotta take it in."

Whitepaw's ears drooped as the senior warrior padded away, leaving the two to carry out the work he'd given them. "Aw..." He mewed, looked to Silentpaw with a disappointed look. "Us apprentice's always have to do the dirty work." Flicking his tail, he got to his paws, walking heavily toward the den he'd just come out of. He waited for Silentpaw before slipping through, nosing about the bedding for the old and dry stuff. Once he'd shoved some into a pile, he took a mouthful of it, tasting the bitterness on his tongue. They'd need to take it out of the camp and find cleaner bedding.

"Thith ith no fun." Whitepaw mewed around a mouthful of moss, waiting for the other apprentice. "Hurry up." With a teasing look he flicked his long white tail across Silentpaw's shoulder.

"Oh, this has gotta be the good life."

Ravenpaw blinked, but when she replied he was reassured by her somewhat serious tone. So, he padded after her, in his usual quiet manner, avoiding contact of other cats as he swiftly passed them, following Skykit. Once they reached the spot, he watched Skykit slip through. Making sure he still had time to go on after, he entered through, tail alarmingly following. His heart had nearly skipped a few beats, but nevertheless he made it, licking his ruffled fur clean. Ravenpaw looked back at the narrow space he had barely managed to get through, and then around before looking at Skykit with a nod, impressed. "How'd you find it?" He asked.

Silentpaw hissed quietly as her mentor turned away. Ghostfang is no fun, she thought venomously. Technically we could have been practicing. She followed Whitepaw into the apprentices den, angrily gathering together the bits of moss that were componentst of the bedding. She was glad Whitepaw was with her though. At least she had a friend she could talk to. As Whitepaw flicked his tail across her shoulder, she grinned. Carefully, she snagged a small piece of moss on a claw, and flung it towards him. Grabbing her wadded up ball of dry moss between her teeth, she darted away, chuckling to herself as she thought about how Whitepaw might react.

@Mackstarr: I know, I'm sorry, but you don't have nearly enough for your second cat, and the others you have hardly enough. I'm sorry, but I don't think you are ready for this RP.

Skykit.
She smiled, her ears pricking up as he entered. "I have explored every inch of this camp either at night or just when I can get away from Petalnose and others." She said, ending the sentence rather jarringly and abruptly. She had also been about to explain how she had observed every cat within the clan, but held back on that information. He didn't need to know that information. That was her secret. And he might take it the wrong way. She wasn't creepy, she just made sure she understood and knew the warrior's routines and personalities, so that if she ever had to interact with them, she would know how to act. It was knowledge she was gaining from the observances. Knowledge of her own kind and blood and family. Her clan. It wouldn't do to upset them. Shaking herself, she nodded her head towards the small, narrow entrance that led from the cramped space out into the forest. "There you are. Just go through the tunnel and your out." She told him, nodding to the small gap between the ferns and thorns and bramble that line camp, as well as the fallen logs and dense trees and foliage.

Whitepaw sat just near the entrance to the apprentice's den, his dark blue eyes on the silver form of Silentpaw. She had looked a little upset until he'd given her a friendly flick with his tail, and he was glad her mood had changed for the better again. With a content huff, the small white and brown tom glanced through the entrance. And that's when it hit him. Literally. Whitepaw jumped to his paws, feeling a bunch of moss hitting the side of his head. His ears flattened until he turned around, seeing Silentpaw's teasing look and hearing her laugh. Before he do anything there, she rushed passed him out of the den, nearly knocking him off his paws. With a muffled meow, he gave chase.

Whitepaw headed toward the opening of the camp, as that was where they would need to discard the old moss and find new stuff. He was hard on the young she cat's paws, his tail streaming out behind him as he ran. When they were free of the camp, and her mentor's eye, he dropped his moss and leaped toward Silentpaw. He let out a playful cry when he was in the air, his paw's extended toward Silverpaw's back.

"Oh, this has gotta be the good life."

As Silentpaw dashed away from the apprentices' den, she knew that Whitepaw would ber right on her tail. She pushed herself to run faster, but her legs wouldn't carry her any faster than she was already going. She dropped the moss she was carrying carelessly near the pile of dry moss where she was supposed to deposit it, and grinned as she felt herself able to run a little bit faster. But Whitepaw was fast, and it seemed like he was going to win this one.
Within a second, Silentpaw felt Whitepaw's paws on her back, and even his rather insubstantial mass was enough to send her straight ot the ground during a flat-out sprint. She grunted as she collapsed to the ground, trying to roll over to fight back with Whitepaw. Able to make it onto her back, she swatted at his underbelly with her back paws, unused to being pinned down like this.

(Blah I wish I could get on more. Tomorrow, definitely. Anyway, I hate my rushed posts. DX Messed up. Lol. Oh well, now I have some time...XP Not really. I actually can post this for one bit but I got to go.)

Ravenpaw nodded once more, listening, as his tail flickered. He tilted his head slightly, but then came back to reality as she showed him the exit. With a small smile; just a slightly curved line, he expressed some gratitude with a flick of his ear, before saying, "Ok, well, thank you, Skykit." Ravenpaw then swiftly padded over to the entrance of it, and went through. Once on the other side, he stretched, crispy cool forest air entering his lungs, more fresher than the usual camp atmosphere. Tail and ears flicking in unison, Ravenpaw padded carefully and silently forwards, scenting the air. Pictures of prey entered his mind, and he switched his sights to some rustling leaves, the sound emitting just a bit to his left.
