(( Oh, yeah! I saw it! I thought that Shackleford was going to be in a close second to another horse, then Animal Kingdom third. I was kind of wrong....))

Brambletail saw that Forestheart didn't seem to notice that Blackfeather was "Stalking" her.

[Shezza.]

Blackfeather drew back her lips in a silent growl. She perked her head over the bush about to turn and run when she noticed Brambletails eyes on her.

Brambletail quickly put his head down to the squrriel at his feet that he had killed he buried it and walked off casualy.

[Shezza.]

Blackfeather ran and jumped in front of Brambletail. "Why where you watching me?!"

"Why wouldn't I be watching you?" asked Brambletail calmly. "You were stalking Forestheart, my mate, as if she were some mouse to hunt!"

[Shezza.]

Blackfeather glared at him. "I wasnt stalking her mouse-brain! I was trying to get into the forest away from the clan so i could think clearly, she was stalking ME!" Her tail lasted and she looked at her paws, they where scarlet

[foxes.]

Forestheart heard some faint rustling behind her. She pricked her ears forward and padded silently towards it.

"Well, I didn't see that." Brambletail followed her gaze. When he saw her paws, he took in a sharp breath. He thought about leaving, but decided against it.

(( Yeah Animal Kingdom was a really really close second.))

[Shezza.]

"I-its not blood" Blackfeather said quickly "well most of it isnt at least" she whispered

((Yeah. If his rider had let him loose sooner he would have gotten first. I had a feeling about Shakleford during the derby...))

Forestheart sniffed the air and caught the scents of her mate, and...Blackfeather?
