Darkfire catches the vole swiftly and buries it, then scents the air again.

Stormpaw jumped, throwing it into the air and killing it like that.

As DarkFire and StormPaw got up to hunt, so did StormCloud. She headed back to camp after remaining unnoticed and layed down outside the warrior den.

Darkfire nods to him, then leaps into the air, missing the small sparrow by its tail feather. He hisses and climbs up the tree, then races on the branch. He leaps and catches the bird in mid air, bringing it down with him as he lands in a bramble. "Fox dung!" He curses and pulls himself out, tufts of fur coming off his pelt.

Stormpaw gave a mrrow of laughter at him. He flicked his ear as he herd scurffling behind him. He turned and prounced. It was a vole.

"At least I have my bird!" He hisses and sees warm rain start to come down. One drops on his nose and he licks it off. "I'm afraid the river will overflow." He sighs. "Lets get a few more pieces of prey and head back to camp." He says and scents the air. He grins and races off, heading way far from the border as he chases a rabbit. He snarls and races over a thunderpath, eyes widening as a monster comes raving toward him. He pounds harder and faster, but still the wind from monster blew him right onto the rabbit. He grabs it and races back, quickly coming back to Stormpaw with the rabbit. He pants and flops to the ground, breathing deep.

Stormpaw was watching. Boy, Darkfire was brave. He shook his head clear before quickly picking up a scent before the rain got the scent mixed in with its. Stormpaw twiched h is nose before leaping up, and up. Just in time to catch a bird fly around. Stormpaw was a great jumper.

Darkfire glances to the side, then bolts up and tree and takes another flying leap at a squirrel, catching it and swiftly killing it with a bite to its spine. He hisses as he slips, but sinks his claws into the branch and hangs off. He closes his eyes and drops, landing on his paws. He sighs in relief and grabs all of his prey. "I'll go get one fish. You go to camp, I'll be there soon." He says and races to the river, diving in. He paddles around and dives under the now choppy waves. He opens his eyes and spots a large catfish, then dives for it, catching it and swimming up. He swims to land and sets it far from the edge. He hauls himself out, collecting all of his prey, and racing to camp.

Stormpaw nodded. He grabbed all of his prey and dashed as fast as he could back to the camp. He placed the freash kill on the food pile and yawned. It was a long day. He padded over to the appretinces' den and laid down. He closed his eyes and took a nap.
