He awoke from his slumber, shaking clumps of dried moss from his pelt. He saw the first rays of dawn gleaming through the Willow branches that hung over his den. He pushed through them, and found himself a small mouse from the fresh kill pile.
"Good morning IvyPaw." He mewed hastily, before leaping on top of high rock and announcing the daily patrols. "SagePaw, TigerStep, FawnLeap, and WillowFang may go on the dawn patrol. Keep an eye out for rogues and SkyClan cats-We've caught their scent too often on our territory lately." With that he leapt off the rock, and watched the cats walk away on the patrol.


SagePaw

She awoke, super energetic, and annoying every other apprentice in the den. She glanced around, and bounced out of her den, calling her mentor's name. "TigerStep! What are we going to do today?" Her ear twitched when she heard her name called and she sprung up to follow behind her mentor on the patrol. She laughed, when suddenly a scent caught her nose. "TigerStep? What is that smell?" She asked her mentor and wrinkled up her nose at the odd scent of a rogue.


FawnLeap

"It...wasn't that urgent." She meowed, her foot throbbing in disagreement. Knowing that BeetlePelt would find out anyways, and the whole clan knew she and her brother were sad about their sister's death, she decided to confide in him. "Can you keep a secret? I know I was supposed to stay in camp last night, as a vigil to SoaringFlower. But I went out to get the fox that killed her.. I.."Her words suddenly stopped, her side heaving with heavy breathing, and she passed out. When this happened, she rolled over to reveal her heavily bleeding belly. She lay there, completely unknowing of anything in a semi-conscious state. She could still feel pain, but not be able to understand why or where it was coming from. Nor could she understand voices of cats around her. She heard a muffled yowl of fear, and then SorrelCloud's exclamation, but just barely. Her ear twitched, and suddenly she lost all consciousness, drifting into a deep slumber.

Bettlepelt -- Medicine Cat -- Fawnleap, Sorrelcloud

As soon as Sorrelcloud entered the den, Beetlepelt rose from where she was keeping an anxious eye on Fawnleap. "She had an injured foot so I took her in. But it turned out to be a lot more than that. She was..." She remembered Fawnleap's secret and shook her head. "There was a rogue. That's what she said. I've managed to stop the bleeding for now, and I've given her some marigold to stop infection, so there's nothing we can really do for now but wait." She looked away from the she-cat, slightly embarrassed. "Uh, sorry I screamed. I was...not expecting that injury." She gestured to Fawnleap's belly with one paw.

Tigerstep flicked his ear and he parted his jaws to take in the scents. "A rouge, it seems." He turned to the younge shecat. "Do you think you can track it? It would be good practice too."

Sorrelcloud's ear twitched and she lifted her gaze to meet Beetlepelt's eyes. "Did you tell Maplestar yet? I can go tell him if you need me to... And I could, um, go collect herbs! If that helps."

Beetlepelt considered Sorrelcloud's suggestions for a brief moment. "I actually hadn't thought to tell Maplestar. If you have the chance to talk to him, that would actually be a huge help. Collecting herbs would be really helpful, too. As you can probably see, I've used up most of my cobweb!" She gave a grim slime that was more of a grimace, then shook her head as if to clear her thoughts. "Do you know where to go? I have to keep an eye on Fawnleap, so I'm afraid I can't go with you."

Sorrelcloud nodded, "I do, indeed. I'll be back soon.: She waved her tail in goodbye before exiting the den. She looked around before spotting the leader and bounded over to him. "Hey Maplestar!" She greeted, dipping her head before continuing her statement. "I... Fawnleap is hurt, real bad. She's in Beetlepelt's den."

Suddenly, she heard a rush of grass, and she could smell SkyClan cats too. She bristled, and growled, "What are they doing here" to her mentor.

Snapclaw yawned, getting out of his nest. He heard Maplestar's panicked voice, but he didn't care. Why would he? He walked over to the fresh-kill pile and took a crow.

Tigerstep's tail tip twitched as he smelled the Skyclan scent. "I don't know, Sagepaw. Stay low, and don't attack until I say so." He crawled closer to the scent, nose twitching.

Sorrelcloud pointed her tail towards the medicine cat den, and she glanced over at it. "I'm going to fetch herbs. If you need me, I won't be to far."

Snapclaw
Snapclaw looked around to see is nobody was watching him. He slowly crept out of camp, and started going towards a tree.
His eyes narrowed into slits. His eyes locked onto a tiny shape nibbling on some seeds. His mouth started to water. He crept forward, moving quickly yet not making a sound. He was only a few mouse-lengths away from the little shape. He pounced, landed on it. He squished it with his strong forepaws, then nipped it's spine. His eyes darted around quickly to make sure nobody was watching. When he was sure nobody was watching him, he turned his head to the vole he just caught. He quickly looked around a second time. His mouth started to water. He bent down and started to eat the vole (Which is breaking a rule in the warrior code). He chuckled. "I don't know why we even have the Warrior Code... It only restrains us from being stronger!" Snap looked at where the vole used to be and rolled his eyes. "It's not like anybody will ever know..." He blinked, then padded back to camp.
