Moonlily was purring, thinking about how sweet and kind her brother had been, how he had given his life to save her... She thought about how she had avenged him. She avenged him well, indeed, the traitor won't be doing anything for awhile... Her purr intensified, but then was cut off immediately by a shriek as a sharp pain bit her belly. She scrambled in her nest, collapsing onto her side as she yowled again.

"Are they coming NOW?" Cherrybreeze's head snapped around from her kit to her friend, utterly confused after the flashback incident. "Because now I honestly have no way to tell. Meadowpelt! Get in here!" she yowled, pretty sure that this time it was the kits instead of the flashbacks. If that was Flashfrost killed I'd never be able to bring myself to look at my kits, she thought to herself, the conversation still fresh in her mind. Moonlily was a stronger cat than she believed, inside and out. And now she'd have to bare kits as well. The thought of her friend like this was exciting, and scary at the same time.

Meadowpelt
Meadowpelt heard a yowl, and instinctively got herbs to help Moonlily; she knew that yowl. It was what she called the "Kitting Yowl". She got Poppy Seeds and Juniper Berries and rushed to the Nursery. "Stay calm." she mewed soothingly to Moonlily. "Eat these, you will feel better I promise."

Meadowpelt murmured a little song soothingly to Moonlily as she cleaned her she-cat kit; she came out bleeding. It wasn't intense, and she could fix it easily. Meadowpelt finished and gasped to see a star-shaped scar where it had been bleeding.

"Will it be alright?" Cherrybreeze asked, concerned. She had been watching the whole time, and clung to her kits tightly when she first saw the blood. "It won't die will it? Why did you gasp? What's wrong!"

Moonlily had shrieked when she had caught sight of her daughter's bloody form. But once the she-kit was cleaned up, she honestly felt better. She began purring, her daughter looking just like her. "I think... I am going to name her Starkit, because of that scar," she meowed, chuckling. But when she turned to look at her dashing son, her breath caught in her throat. The cave must have dropped about 30 degrees because suddenly she was shivering ever so slightly. "A-and him..." her voice trailed off slowly. The young tomkit had a fluffy, soft coat, and a misty gray pelt, with ever so increasingly troubling stripes. "Bramble..." she whispered, so quiet that only she could hear it. "H-his name... Will be Bramblekit..." she meowed, a little louder. Everything about her kit reminded her of... of Bramble... of the young tomkit's father... of him.

(Eek! Off to go do Bramblekit's form!!! )

"N-no, the kit is fine. It just.. has an unusual star shaped scar where she was bleeding. She is quite alright now though." Meadowpelt purred. "And those are wonderful names.." she murmured her reply. She figured someone special was named Bramble.. maybe her mate or a family member.
