Pinewhisker glanced around. "Do you want to stay here a while and warm up? Or should we start hunting?" He asked her.

She shook her head. 'I wouldn't want to be a hassle, this water isn't the end of the world.' She said, smiling.

Pinewhisker frowned at her. "Your not a hassle." He replied. "Alright then, let's hunt."

She smiled and sniffed the air and smelled squirrel. Without second thought, she got down into a hunters crouch and stalked it slowly. Within moment she pounced on it and bit its neck, killing it. She looked at he catch proud that she got it in one go. She was defiantly better at hunting.

[tauriel.]

"Good catch." Pinewhisker called to her. Sniffing the air, the scent of vole flooded his senses. A quick look around and he could see the animal, clearly oblivious to the danger in it's quest for food. Pinewhisker dropped into a crouch, silently stalking the vole. As he got closer, he pounced, landing squarely on it's back. Pinewhisker nipped the back of it's neck to kill it.

Spotting Mistyleaf, Brightfern quickly made her way
over to her side. "Hey Mistyleaf. Would you go on a border patrol
with me? There is no one around to go on a border patrol tonight.
Especially after the fox.." she mewed softly. Brightfern glanced
over and waited for her answer.

Giving a slight pur, Froststorm immediately stopped.
What are you doing Froststorm? There is a fox on the loose! We
need to report it right away. Glancing over at Rabbittail for the
one millionth time. "We should probably get back and report. Maybe
there is something else to do," she mewed awkwardly.

"Sure, I'll go. Maybe Seedpaw would like to come? It'd be good experience and... Seedpaw can't go with their mentor."

Bearclaw walked over, "Don't forget I'm here as well." He meowed "I don't think Oakstar would allow her to go, after what happen with that fox."

Seedpaw slipped out of the apprentice den and headed over to where Brightfern was talking with the others. He got there in time to here Mistytail and Bearclaw speak. "Go where?" He asked anxiously. "Minnowpaw's not coming is she?" Seedpaw didn't want his sister going anywhere while she was still injured.

Looking back at Mistyleaf, "Bearclaw is correct," Brightfern
mewed slightly agitated. Recovering, "Maybe we can take her next time..
when Seedpaw's mentor is here to monitor her." Nodding at Bearclaw and
starting to head towards the entrance before she was pestered with anymore
questions. Brightfern was stressed with everything that was going on.
