Moonshade looked up, her side facing Squallpaw. She erased the mystery and sadness glistening in her beautiful, dark eyes. That was her specialty; hiding her emotions when she needed to and left her clanmates unable to even guess what she was thinking. She smiled gently as she stood and stretched with a yawn. "Well, we could go hunting. There's always more room for prey. And it'll be good practice for you," she meowed, as her intelligent eyes traced along his pelt intently. She blinked, spotting some scraps of moss still on his pelt and took a step forward to flick them off with her tail fondly. She purred, "And maybe after we're done you can groom your fur properly."

Lightheart didn't look up for a few moments as she handed Dewstorm each little bit of herbs in the order she was supposed to take them. "Were they long pains? Sharp or nauseous? They mean different things," the young medicine cat asked gently, but sounded as if it were rehearsed. Then she smiled and said, glancing at the remains of the prey, "Oh and you can thank Cloverstar for that. It's from her."

Dewstorm stopped and thought for a moment, "A series of small, sharp pains," She replied, taking every word with procation. If they ment different things, then one could mean she was due, and one could mean to wait, and if she said the wrong thingg than she ment, she could be doing something very harmful. "And I will thank CLoverstar as soon as I can get up on my paws again," She said with a glint of humor, then sniffed the harbs cautiosly. She always had a fear of herbs, like, having a medicine cat give her something wrong, of course, she trusted Lightheart, but her mother had gotten very ill because of it and was scared ever since.

Lightheart nodded, listening as the queen described her pains. She pulled back and smiled. "Well, that means your kits are due soon. Very soon. Probably in the next couple of days, really. I remember one queen feeling like this when I was just an apprentice and she'd had her kits the next day!" the white she-cat purred. She licked her belly and turned back towards her, laughing a little as she heard Dewstorm's remark, "Well you most certainly can then. Now, I want you to relax." Lightheard stood, stretching, and blinked her midnight blue eyes at Dewstorm, finishing softly, "Alright. I think that's all I needed to ask you for. Remember to keep yourself comfortable and hydrated. We don't know when the kits will come, so we need to be prepared. Now, I'll get out of fur... so you can rest and relax." Lightheart smiled once more, licking the queens ear, and with a dip of her head, she disappeared through the lichen entrance, calling behind her, "Yowl for me whenever you need me, OK?"
The young, attractive medicine cat trotted gracefully across camp. She then paused at the fresh-kill pile and noticed Moonshade was instructing her apprentice with something and she smiled, glad she didn't have to be lonely anymore. She had to admit, her dark sister had a strong personality. Not exactly appearance wise, despite her excellent fighting skills, but inside her. There was always a calm, powerful look to Moonshade and Lightheart was proud to call her her sister. The white she-cat settled down in the shade near the edge of camp and started to rip into her prey, savoring each bite of the juicy meat.
