Lilykit was excited to have opened her eyes but she was still confused. She wanted Fawnkt to open her eyes so that they could play. "Why Fawnkit blind?" Lilykit asked her mother. "Me help fix?"

Lilykit squeaked in protest. "No. No, no, no, no, no. Me fix Fawnkit." She didn't want her sister to be in darkness her whole life. How would she be able to do anything?
