Brightsky nodded. "I'm sure it did but he was fine." She said and continued on with the tour. "We had to find some place where the medicine cat could store the herbs so we picked a carve in the tree. There is only enough room for two cats though." She said and glanced toward the near by hill like thing that held Maskstar's den. "The leader's den is only a hole that we've dug, Maskstar had told us that she would be fine sleeping in the trees but our medicine cat thought it would be better if she had her own quiet place to relax. She's been through a lot of stress lately." Brightsky said a bit sadly near the end.

Soul looked over at her. "Why? There aren't any rival Clans around here, are there?"

Brightsky shook her head. "No, but our old clan camp was near the center of where the flood happened. We lost almost everyone." She said sadly. "Our clan use to be perfect and fun and I remembered I use to always play with the kits, but then the flood happened." She added. "Our deputy drowned when he save Maskstar from being drowned herself, Maskstar still hasn't forgiven herself. Now she thinks its all her fault that this happened, she believes in Starclan so strongly and she thinks she did something to anger them." Brightsky explained.

"Well, she shouldn't think that. She didn't do anything to make StarClan angry, I bet!"

Brightsky nodded. "I know. We've all tried to tell her that but she won't listen or she doesn't want to listen." She told him. "Its just best to give her time, she'll get better soon enough." Brightsky said with a hopeful purr.

Soul looked away from Brightsky. "She didn't seem that bad when I met her. Maybe she already is getting better," he said.
