Slade looked over at Aastra and sighed. He padded over to her and opened the clamp with ease. "Stupid things. If we get caught in one of these when we're alone, we'd die."

Aastra nodded she got a large stick and it shut snapping it "we need some scouts to look for them and snap them i think i might go put this somewere else" she walked on three llegs and dug a hole and placed it there and coverd it up she walked over to Slade "thanks" she said giving him a lick

Tala watched them carefully. She was beginnning to trust them and they knew heaps about packs and pack life. She wanted to learn about everything as quick as possible.

Slade nodded to Aastra. "Tala, follow us back to camp. There, you can meet your packmates and find out what position in our pack is best for you." He said, flicking his tail to an opening in the brush. "Aastra, I don't think that sending out hunters to find these...these things would be the best idea. Maybe we can send out the hunters in groups of three, that way if one got hurt the other could stay with them while the third hunter came back to camp to tell us." Slade whispered in her ear.

Tala followed them, happy to have found her place. Maybe she'd even find a mate! She wasn't planning on getting her hopes up, though...

Aastra nodded at Slade your probly right but from now on we need to worn our pack mates to look down and i think well in the past at hunting season the dogs call the fox/wolf trapes they even have one that kill bears" she looked at Slade "i probly di the dumest thing ever today" she was still walking on three legs

Tala walked over to Aastra. "Is there anything I can do to help?" she asked eagerly, wanting to make herself useful.

"no its fine i can find some hurbs for it and get a thick stick for a splint" she said all you need to worry about is becomeing a member lets see if your claws change coulor" she smiled "dont worry your stong and by the looks of it farst youll probly end up being a hunter" she smiled "just suck up to the other wolves thats how i did it"

Slade flicked his tail against Aastra. "Run ahead to the pack. I'll explain how we live in Shadow Pack to Tala now." He said.
