MoonShadow's inner thoughts were pulled away by an excited voice coming towards her direction. Turning her head MoonShadow landed her eyes on the red tabby pelt of SquirrelPaw. MoonShadow offered a small purr as her apprentice approached "Good morning SquirrelPaw" she greeted with an added flick of her tail. With her decision "Yes, You are going to be joining me on my boarder patrol this morning" she stated with a nod of her head "If you haven't already, go eat breakfast and then we will head out."

NightFrost's eyes flicked towards the senior warrior approaching him. Dipping his head in a greeting NightFrost turned away from the prey pile and towards the warrior. Hearing AdderStorm's words, NightFrost perked up a bit, no longer needing food to keep him energized. He flicked his tail in consideration "Absolutely AdderStorm. Thank you for the consideration. I would be honored to lead a patrol today" he stated with his mind already racing about whom to ask to join his patrol. "I am considering to ask OwlStream and Bayleef to join me on the patrol, with me. What do you think?"

WolfPaw moved away from the busy area of camp and moved himself to be sat by the brush towards the edge of the prey pile. He liked this spot as he was able to see the clan without being in the way. With him seeing each cat was pretty busy already, he didn't want to intervene into any conversations. So he would watch the mannerism of his clan. Although in the clan for many moons now, WolfPaw still knew he had so much to learn and he wanted to learn all of it. Flicking his fluffy tail his eyes raced around the camp.

As Stumblestar, the great third Thunderblood leader of Lionclan, sat and pondered his day's plans beneath the rock where he usually gave his announcements, he realized he had no clue what to do. There was peace, nothing was amiss--he watched Whitemask pad out of her den heavy with kits, Adderstorm bustle about making patrols, his own apprentice doing the same watching he was... There was peace. Sure, he hated and was deeply afraid of the utterly too-nearby Leywilds, but they stayed on their Ley and his people stayed safe. What was he to do? The silly leader slowly lays down, and continues his watching.

Oh. there he goes, she guesses. Busy man, that Senior Warrior Mentor of hers. Snowpaw obeys, as she is want to do, and stays exactly where she is. Though, she had been up a lot of the night, and her lack of sleep pulled at her. The sun was hot on her black flanks too, making her feel like doing nothing but napping it away.

Whitemask was padding out of the nursery, if only to bask in the sun her kits would be born into soon. Always a good idea to kit during Newleaf, so they have the best chances, she thinks. Good things all around. She purrs at passerby, but makes no move to initiate a conversation.

She quickly finished her dove licking her lips she looked over the medicine cat's den for her mentor Crookface to show up any time now, but so far the den seemed silent. Sighing she buried the leftover and looked toward the white queen near the nursery, she slowly padded over to her "Oh good morning Whitemask...I hope everything is going well with you? The kits are acting nicely?" she meowed to the queen.

He saw his apprentice near the apprentice's den now alone as his sister run to her mentor Moonshadow the clan deputy. He looked over to the few cats there unsure if he was invited to any patrols or if there were even any patrols organized. Though he could maybe pick his apprentice now before the young tom decide to do something else, flicking his tail he walked over to Badgerpaw "Morning kit" he meowed mostly joking about the kit part "You ready for today?" he asked him.

She stayed out of everyone's sight for a while, before staying still started to feel on her legs and she thought that she could need to walk a little bit. Sighing she walked up to the clearing her eyes looking around it as she walked deeper to the middle of the camp, her eyes looked over to Owlstream there "Oh morning Owlstream, is there lots of prey in the forest this wet morning?" she meowed to her as she saw her dropping something to the fresh-kill pile.

Venus padded into camp with a fresh hare, she padded to the freshkill pile and plopped the fat hare in the pile. Her gaze lifting to the sky, a smile graced she face as little dandelion seeds began to float on her pelt, she purred and followed the seeds. The wind carried them, swirling and catching height. Prancing after the wind, she watched as they flew off into the sunlight. She sat and eyed the the sky, her tail curling atop her paws. She was oblivious of any attention she got. She was just happy to be there.

Lakesong yawned and stretched herself out as best as she could without waking the small white ball of fluff curled up next her. Blinking awake the queen looked around at the quiet nursery and debated on whether she should wake her kit up and take him outside to enjoy the warm sun. She thinks quietly to herself before deciding against it, Cloudkit was a growing cat and needed all the sleep he could get.
Carefully Lakesong rose to her feet and stepped out of the nursery, purring at the feeling of the warm sun hitting her fur and closed her eyes when she found a quiet spot to sit, dipping her head in greeting whenever another cat walks by

Venus's fur fluffed up at the feeling of the warm sunlight beaming on her small frame. The small calico looked around at the other clan cats, she wasn't exactly close with anyone, nor did that stop her from talking to anyone. Whether they liked her or not, she just wanted to be near someone. Her gaze fell upon a dark-grey she-cat, sunbathing, she seemed tired. Padding closer she gat a hint of milk, she was a queen. Her fur fluffed up and little babies breath buds blossomed along her fur. "Hello there! My name is Venus!" She purred and dipped her head to the queen.

He nodded approvingly at Nightfrost’s choice. “Yes, I think they sound good,” His ears flicked slightly as he looked around to see where the two warriors were. “They both seem to be free, don’t forget to bring some fresh kill back, we could definitely use some,” He meowed, looking at Nightfrost for a moment longer before turning to go back to Snowpaw. As he neared the apprentice he began to speak. “We will be hunting today, ” He told her simply. He felt as if they had an easy relationship, they got on quite well without much talking. She was an exceptional young cat. He was happy to have her as an apprentice, he knew there were others that would have been harder to deal with.

She looked over at Tunapaw as he approached. “Yes we’re waiting to see if we’ll be going on a patrol. If we aren’t chosen, we’ll be testing your battle skills,” She purred, giving him an affectionate look. Although they could still use a little work, she felt as if his hunting skills were pretty good. They had been worked on much more than fighting, so they needed to switch gears and keep him well-rounded.

He gave an amused purr as his mentor spoke. “I’m very ready for today. What’re we gonna do?” He asked, looking into the black and white tom’s eyes. He was super excited to become a warrior, although he knew it would still be a little bit. “I still have some stuff to work on before I’m ready though,” He thought before focusing on Bayleaf once again.

Once finished she ran back to her mentor. “I’m ready!” She said, rather loud. Her mentor was always so busy that she cherished any moments she got to spend alone with the she-cat, she felt like she learned so much that way.

Upon sensing a cat approaching Lakesong opened her blue eyes and gave the she-cat a tired but kind look. "Well hello there Venus" she purred softly, her voice warm and friendly. "I'm Lakesong" the she-cat moved a little to make room for Venus in the warm sun. "How is your day going? Is everything alright?"
Lakesong was quite happy for the company and immediantly tried her best to make Venus feel comfortable and cared for.

Venus's ears perked at the she-cat's introducing herself, her name made her blossom little pink carnations. She reminder her of her own mother, Moon That Frosted The Lake. She smiled and joined the grey queen in the warm sunrays. "It's going great! I caught a large hare!" Her tail flicked to the freshkill pile, with a plump hare in the stack. Her scent was sweet, reminding her of her kithood. "Plus company is always great! I'm still trying to get to know everyone!" Her gaze softened on Larksong. "How's your day so far?" she questioned.

Lakesong sat and listened to the she cat, purring softly and watching Venus. "Oh well done, that's a wonderful catch, and don't worry about meeting everyone at once. Some cats need time to warm up to new cats and some are just plain grumpy." she meowed with a smile. "Well so far it's going quite well, I'm just having some alone time while my kit sleeps, thankfully it's such a lovely day"
Lakesong stretches out a little more before lying down in the sun.
