Sableclaw looked up at Sparktuft and, swallowing a bite of bird, she smiled back. She nodded in response and understanding to his good morning, knowing that Lionkit would still be asleep.
She looked over and saw Saltstar and Reedstream talking, and watched the leader and medicine cat turn and pad in different directions.
Where's the rest of my patrol? Sableclaw wondered, watching Reedstream lay down. I guess I'll ask Saltstar.

Lionkit blinked, and rolled over again, onto her back, and stretched her creamy legs. Drawing her legs close to her again, she gave out a long yawn, and looked up at her Daddy happily.
She saw him look up and mouth something to someone outside the den, so she rolled over and looked, perking her ears as she saw Sableclaw eatting her bird.

Upon seeing Sableclaw, Lionkit jumped right up out of Sparktuft's warmth and ran out of the nursery, leaping playfully onto Sableclaw when she wasn't looking.

Sableclaw jumped to her feet in surprise as Lionkit's small body crashed onto her back. She then realized it was the little golden kit. "Lionkit!" She laughed, her sadness gone. "Weren't you just asleep?"

“Lionkit!” He called after her. He got up and rushed out after her. He picked her up by her scruff. “I’m so sorry, Sableclaw.” He apologized, his mew muffled by his daughter’s fluffy fluff.

Pondpaw had gotten back from wondering. She had been out of camp a lot since her mentor died. She walked over to Redstream, she had wanted to be a medicine cat but couldn't because of there already being a medicine cat apprentice.

"Sparktuft, it's o-" Sableclaw's meow was cut short by Saltstar. She looked at the white she-cat. "Of course! I was wondering where everyone was."
Sableclaw knew how Saltstar was, as she's known her all her life. Even though Saltstar gets on her nerves, Sableclaw knows not to make her any more upset.
She swished her tail and looked back at Sparktuft.
"You staying with Lionkit?" She meowed. "I'll grab another cat to take with me."

Sandspray is sitting down, And in a very grumpy mood. She is in the main area of camp, and hoping for a job to do that is an excuse to not interact with others.
