Beetlepelt -- Medicine Cat -- Fawnleap

Beetlepelt jumped as the she-cat approached her, running up to her and guiding her into the medicine cat den. She took particular care to make sure the injured foot did not touch the ground. "Oh, Fawnleap, that doesn't look good!" She murmured, more to herself than Fawnleap. When Beetlepelt got her settled into a moss nest, she began to scan her supply for the herbs she would need. "Here. Marigold -- it'll ward off infection." She pushed a small pile of petals in front of Fawnleap. "If it happened last night, than you should have gotten me to take a look at it last night!" She chided gently, beginning to wrap the wound. "What were you doing out, anyway?"

Ivyleaf

Ivyleaf woke up from her nap. She went outside the Warriors den and stretched. She looked around to see if there was anycat to talk to.

He awoke from his slumber, shaking clumps of dried moss from his pelt. He saw the first rays of dawn gleaming through the Willow branches that hung over his den. He pushed through them, and found himself a small mouse from the fresh kill pile.
"Good morning IvyLeaf." He mewed hastily, before leaping on top of high rock and announcing the daily patrols. "SagePaw, TigerStep, FawnLeap, and WillowFang may go on the dawn patrol. Keep an eye out for rogues and SkyClan cats-We've caught their scent too often on our territory lately." With that he leapt off the rock, and watched the cats walk away on the patrol.


SagePaw

She awoke, super energetic, and annoying every other apprentice in the den. She glanced around, and bounced out of her den, calling her mentor's name. "TigerStep! What are we going to do today?" Her ear twitched when she heard her name called and she sprung up to follow behind her mentor on the patrol.


FawnLeap

"It...wasn't that urgent." She meowed, her foot throbbing in disagreement. Knowing that BeetlePelt would find out anyways, and the whole clan knew she and her brother were sad about their sister's death, she decided to confide in him. "Can you keep a secret? I know I was supposed to stay in camp last night, as a vigil to SoaringFlower. But I went out to get the fox that killed her.. I.."Her words suddenly stopped, her side heaving with heavy breathing, and she passed out. When this happened, she rolled over to reveal her heavily bleeding belly.

"Good morning" she mewed back before watching the leader jump up onto highrock and announce the patrols.

She stood up and walked over the the fresh kill pile choosing a small mouse. Ivyleaf found a nice spot in the sun and started eating her mouse.

Beetlepelt screamed as Fawnleap rolled over, but quickly put a paw over her mouth to stifle its sound. Oh, fox dung! It's worse that I thought! she cursed herself for her lack of perception and quickly got to work trying to stifle the bleeding. When she cleaned out the wound and wrapped it with cobwebs, she checked that she was still breathing steadily and lay down, keeping an eye on her.

Ivyleaf's ears shot up when she heard the medicine cat scream.

'woah, must be something really bad..' she thought.
She finished her mouse and decided to go hunting, still uneasy about what was going on

Tigerstep glanced at the apprentice as they caught up to the patrol. "Are you always this excited in the morning," He teased, his whiskers twitching with amusment, "Or are you just trying to annoy the clan to death?"

Sorrelcloud's ears perked as she heard Beetlepelt yowl. She stood and raced into the medicine den, her eyes wide. "What's wrong?!" Her eyes glanced down at Fawnleap and felt herself panic even more.
