Cernunnos lowered his head and took a small drink from the ice cold water. He raised it again, water dripping down his fur, his eyes clouded. "Humans are a mystery, Kuxie. They are both a bane and a boon; incredibly complex creatures of infinite capabilities. But Minerva is right, they started the fire. I saw it happen."

He closed his eyes, the vivid pictures of the insatible fire lapping at his heels as he fled his home, hearing the screams of his dying kin behind him.

Tamar lowered his head to lap up the cold liquid, his tongue taking long strokes to try and get it into his mouth. "You saw it?" He looked away, blushing ever so slightly under his short black fur. "I have to admit. I took one look at the flames and ran." His eyes flooded with tears. "My... My mate and calf died in the fire. I just couldn't tear my eyes away... They kept on running, even though the fur on their backs where on fire. It was the most horrible thing I had ever seen..." Tears rolled down his cheeks, dripping onto the cold, wet ground below.

Cernunnos glanced at Tamar, his brown eyes glittering brightly. "I am sorry," he said softly, wishing he could do something to comfort the moose."That is one thing no one should ever have to see."

Turning away from the others, he breathed out a sigh. He didn't like losing his tough guy act... He would be seen as less vulnerable if they knew he could defend himself well... But if he couldn't defend himself emotionally, what was the point. "I know." And with that, he walked off, his pelt disappearing in the shadows very quickly.

Steve gave a sigh"You aren't the only one who saw the fire,my father, mother, and sister died too." Steve looked at the forest and whined.

Sabelle lowered her gaze to the ground, "I lost my parents in the fire. My mom was caught in a trap and my dad was trying to save her. They told me to run so I managed to escape B-but...The flames got them, " Tears dripped off her muzzel and onto the ground, just the thought of it caused them.

Damu shuffled his talons, claws clicking quietly as he moved them. "Our tree burned in the fire. My kin, my friends, my home... everything burned. Everything, and everyone. Our entire tribe, blinked out of existence in one fell swoop. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the only red-tailed hawk left for hundreds of miles around."

I'm sorry, but I have to issue you a warning for the a couple reasons.....
-You posted in yellow and green, when your form you filled out says you are going to post in 'orange.'
-You double posted, which is un-appreciated.

Also, keep in mind yu cannot change your color, unless there is a good reason.

So sorry if I seem to be acting harsh, but I want this thread to keep clean and nice. :3

Poppy scurried through the grass, annoyed at having to leap out of deep snow and her cold and wet fur. She came to the group of animal quickly but hid incase she was considered prey, considering the many large and carnivorious animals. She twitched her ears and listened.
((Is this the color? Lol Anyway, it would make an odd pair but Poppy could befriend Damu :3))
