Story: (I wanted to do this :3)

"Come on Blondie!"
"Coming!" the blond fennec fox trotted after her friends. The school bell had just rang for recess, and she was excited to play with her buddies. They raced out onto the playground. Suddenly Cookie saw another fennec fox, this one a male. It was Derek. Cookie always had a crush on him. She stared at him from a little bit away, eyes shining. Her best friend, Courtney, laughed. "Come on, girl. Forget him for a little while, alright? You've been fawning over him ever since high school." Cookie shook her head and smiled. "I'm sorry. I can't help it." They bothed laughed, and walked over to play Four Square. Soon it was Cookie's turn, and somebody else bounced the ball to her but it shot up and hit her on the face. She fell backwards, landing on her arm and scraping it. "Oww!" she yelled, tears welling up in her eyes as she bit her lip to prevent herself from crying. When she looked up she saw a familiar face reaching down a hand to help her. It was Derek. She slowly took the offered hand. "T-thanks," she blushed. His face also reddened as he pulled her up. "Sure thing. You okay?" Cookie nodded. "Y-yeah, I'm f-fine." He scratched his head. "Erm... wanna hang out later?" Cookie couldn't believe it. "Yes!" The other fennec fox winked nervously. "Great, see you after school then!" She watched as he walked away. Looks like this day wasn't going to be too bad after all!
