"I can stay after school for as long as it takes." Shade said quickly. "Can we start earlier than next week?" she begged.

"Oh." Jasper said, watching her quietly.

Damion grinned and shot her a wink. "How about Wednesday?"

Elizabeth glanced at him. "Go ahead and judge me like everyone else does..."

"What about tomorrow? Or is that too soon?" Shade asked quietly. She knew her mother was getting laid off tomorrow and it just wasn't going to be a fun day at home after school.

"I'm not going to judge you." Jasper said.

Damion thought for a moment before smiling at her. "I don't see why not! I get bored anyways."

Elizabeth looked at him in complete shock.

Jasper shrugged at her, "Noone should be judged."

Damion let out a small chuckle as he shook his head. "Not at all."

Suddenly Elizabeth's brother walked up carrying her daughter. She smiled happily and took the child in her arms. "Hello sweety." Jessica smiled and snuggled into the crook of Elizabeth's neck, looking at Jasper shyly. Elizabeth flashed him a smile. "See you in class tomorrow."

Shade glanced at the clock. "I have to go," she said quickly. Picking her bag up, she had ten minutes to get home otherwise get a beating.

Jasper nodded, "See ya." he said watching her go. He snapped out of his trance and headed to his car.

Damion raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. "Alright, see you tomorrow..."

Elizabeth glanced back at him as he walked away. She smiled faintly before looking forward. Her brother looked at her strangely and she shrugged. They soon headed home.

"Yeah." Shade said. Getting out of the classroom quickly. And running down the hall. She got out to her car and unlocked it, and climbed in. Hurrying home.

Jasper gave her a smile and then walked out the door.

Damion chuckled softly before packing up his things and setting his laptop in his bag. He then left.

Elizabeth smiled at Jessica and nuzzled her cheek. Jessica giggled softly. They were soon home.
