The scientists had ignored Drake, deeming him irrelevant to their cause for now. They opened the single door, closing the lights to the one dim light bulb, and dragged Nicolete into the room.

Nicolete was too much in a daze to see what the room looked like. It seemed to have several doors and multiple machines around the area, none that looked familiar to her.

She groaned slightly as they started to strap her to some machine. She started to say something before a bright light emitated. Then, everything faded to black.

Drake continued to growl at them, now alone in his cage.

[Derp. Okay. But, it shall take longer for me plots to be done. So, more random talking between people in both RP's. xD]

-Timeskip-

The scientists turned the switch on, the dim light being embraced by it's brothers. The second scientists had Nicolete on his back and walked back to the cage with Drake in it. He turned to the cage and opened it, slowly.

The scientist then proceeded to throw Nicolete into the cage, her back hitting the cold floor soundly. He then looked at Drake with emotionless eyes. "Try to keep it alive," he said to him, turning around and walking out of the room with the other scientist.

Nicolete was semi-unconsious, her entire body was coursing with pain. She trembled and shook, her eyes closed tightly.

Lucion's eyes opened at a start, the sun seeping into his crusted eyes. He yawned and scratched his head, standing up quickly. He turned his head to Kaylee, who was still sleeping.

He smiled to himself and turned back to the bush full of berries, wanting to get something to eat. He knelt by it, taking off an Oran berry and sinking his teeth into it.

Drake winced at the sound of her body hitting the cage. He growled at the scientist, before he crawled over to her, frowning. He shook her gently, trying to get her to wake up.

Kaylee let out a small mumble escape from her lips, sighing.

Nicolete was unresponsive to Drake's shaking. She let a groan escape her lips and she slowly opened her eyes, starting to feel Drake shaking her. "S-stop...please," she said to him, her voice shaky and low.

She felt pain arch through her, every inch of her body felt hot and warm. She shivered and coughed, the experiment making her even worse than before.

Lucion heard Kaylee's mumble and turned his head around, looking at her with intent eyes. He finished the Oran berry and trudged towards her, gently poking her in the side.

"Pst...wake up," he murmured to her, shaking her gently. They had to get into the city and get more information. They should start now, being that it was dawn. Not too many people should be outside.

Kaylee let a small groan escape her, and her eyes slowly open. She was sore from the fight last night, and didn't feel like getting up. "...Unnn.."

Drake quickly stopped when she asked for him to, frowning. "Sorry..are you okay..?" he asked worriedly.

[~Tosuka~]

Lucion sighed and scratched his head, watching Kaylee open her eyes. "We need to start moving. Eat another Oran berry to get your strength up," he said to her, pushing a berry to her.

He stood up and blinked, his eyes gazing to the direction of the city. They had to move fast.

Nicolete didn't reply for a moment, trying to summon up enough energy to. She gave up and slowly shook her head, her eyes closing again as she felt another wave of pain.

Nicolete curled up into a little ball, trying to block out the severe headache that she now had. "N-no..." she managed to croak out to Drake.

Kaylee nodded slightly, and took the berry slowly, putting it up to her mouth, and taking a small bite out of the berry.

Drake's ears flattened further, and he frowned worriedly. "I-is there anything I can do..?"

[~Tosuka~]

Lucion looked back at Kaylee, seeing that she started to eat the berry. "Okay, finish the rest of it now," he said to her, his voice light and calm. A serene wind breezed through his red hair, his eyes closing for a moment.

It was a pretty nice day.

Nicolete shook her head again, still in her tiny curled up ball. She twitched for a few more moments and then fell unconsious again, falling to the side.

Kaylee nodded slowly, and continued to eat the berry, slowly, until it was all gone. She let out a small sigh, and blinked.

Drake whimpered slightly, and looked at her worriedly, unsure of what to do.
