Drake frowned some. "I'm sorry.." he said, wishing he could do something to help her.

[No problem. xD]

Nicolete sighed to herself and slightly shrugged to Drake, lifting her head up. "I-it's fine. I just want to get out of here..." she said to him, wincing slightly at the slamming of a door.

The room was filled with light and Nicolete closed her eyes slightly, the light blinding her for a moment. It seemed like that...two scientists had walked into a very compacted room.

The room was filled with other cages, which were contained with other teenagers that looked at least her age. She whimpered slightly and watched as the two scientists started to walk, looking intently in each cage.

Drake was about to say something, before he saw a light turn on. He narrowed his eyes to adjust to the light, mumbling something.

Nicolete watched the two scientists walk slowly, still inspecting all the cages. They exchanged words together, unheard to her ears. She blinked, not knowing who they were or what they wanted.

The scientists continuted to walk, stopping in front of Drake's and Nicolete's cage. They jotted something down on a clipboard and started to open up the cage.

Drake growled at them lightly, the growl sounding wolf-like, on account of his transformation. He didn't like where he was, and he certainly didn't like the men who were opening the cage. He backed up some towards the wall, his ears flat.

[~Tosuka~]

[Which one? The school one? xD]

The scientists had ignored Drake, walking towards Nicolete. She sank back deeper in the cage, pressing her back to it, her eyes wide as the scientists started to approach.

One of the scientists put a hand on Nicolete's shoulder, starting to pick her up and drag her out of the cage. However, Nicolete bit down hard on the scientist's arm, making a small incision.

The scientist winced and smacked her across the face with his free hand, the sound echoing around the room. The other scientist then knocked Nicolete down to the ground and started to drag her towards the room that they entered, Nicolete wincing and groaning in pain.

Drake kept his ears flat as they grabbed Nicolete. "Hey, don't do that!" he hissed at them when they slapped her. Even though he didn't know her very well, he was still worried for her.
