Conner was about to say something but stopped. He nodded and sighed.

King Arthur nodded to Conner and ordered a servant to unsaddle his horse.

Delilah sighed lonely and let the guard roughly put the shackles around her ankles and wirsts. She lunged out at him but he had a hand out and grabbed her shirt, looking into her eyes,
"Normally, princesses would have avoided all this and admitted what they have done. Gone all soft-like but you, you're different. You ain't telling no-one what you've done or going to do. King Arthur like's to know what people are thinking and he can read them like books, but you. He can't read you. That's why he's so tough and mean, he's frustrated why he can't understand his own daughter."

Conner growled to the guard. He walked and sat outside Delilah's cell,
"What to do.."

[Sergeant Nuggeht]

Delilah looked curiously over the guards shoulder and her heart skipped a beat,
"Conner..." She whispered and the guard let her go, walking out of the cell.

((Byeness... Eating dinner.))

Delilah weakly smiled at him, she tugged at the chains without success. She felt her eyes start to fill with tears and they all slid down her cheeks. Delilah's wrists stung and slowly thick blood dripped onto the ground,
"Conner... How could you let this happen to me?"

Conner stared at her, stunned,
"You think I wanted this to happen ?!" He hissed and bolted up, "How do you expect me to argue with the king ?! Your Father ?! Unless you want me beheaded." Conner glared at Delilah and looked at one of the guards, "I'll take over if you want.."

[Sergeant Nuggeht]

Delilah lunged towards Conner, jerking backwards because of the chains. She growled,
"No!! You're my father's head knight!! He wouldn't behead you, if he had a choice between you or me. He would glady choose me to behead!!"

Conner sighed,
"Yeah. Well if I helped the princess escape, who would he behead then ?"

Delilah frowned,
"He would force you to chase after me, and then kill me." She shook her wrist, hissing at the metal around them.
