Konear was distant, a shell of the playful lion he used to be. Dreams of power and triumph flickered across his mind on a daily basis.

Alban flicked his shoulder with her tail playfully, but got no response, and her ears flattened. "Fine, be that way!" she said, getting up and walking away, angrily.

Konear snorted. He had no time for play. Apparently, being strongest and tallest was more important. He simply flicked an ear as she stormed angrily away, to absorbed in his own thoughts to truly care.

Nero watched him snort, and anger welled up inside him. "Hey, what's your problem? She was just being friendly." he said, and walked away with Alban.

"I have a lot to think about. Stuff you can't even imagine." He replied, his dark gaze barely liftling from the ground. No emotion whatsoever was displayed through his expression. Just blank.

"And you don't have any room in your mind for Her?" he spat.

"In order to maintain power, some things must be sacrificed." He replied calmly, suddenly seeming old and wise.

Nero couldn't Beleive what he was hearing, Power?

"I guess you'll never understand. Too laid back. I was like that, but everything piles up. You lust for power, yet it is out of reach. Man up, maybe then you'll know how I feel." He spoke, then padded away without another word, expression blank and dark.

"Man up? Man up?! That's exactly why I'm laid back, and Atleast I'm man enough to stand up for Alban!" he roared, before bounding away, angrily.
