He backed away from the elephants as they slowly advanced. Frightened, he broke into a desperate run.

Alban gingerly licked alkara's ear, reassuring her that everything was okay.
"Where do you com from, little one? " she asked.
"I'm all alone!" she whimpered, as the leader slowly approached them.
"I told you to leave her!" he roared, assuring his dominance.
"She is no threat to us! Besides, she's all alone! What's the harm in letting her stay?" she replied, as sh nudged alkara to her feet, only to fall over once more. But, she loosened her gaze on alkara as she watched konear run from the rampageing elephants in the distance. It seemed to her like the male was always getting into trouble.

Konear launched himself up a tree, and the elephants stopped, though it was very easily possible for them to knock the tree from the earth. He snarled again and gingerly let himself leap to the ground, his fur bristling though it was not very visible under his thick mane that covered his broad shoulders.

"Fine." he bellowed, as he trudged off to the pride.
Alban grabbed the sickly cub by the scruff and followed him, but instead broke off to meet konear.
" Getting into trouble again, konear?" She laughed.

"Hmf." He snorted, his ears flattening against his forheard.
"I guess. But if I wasn't getting into trouble, then what fun would I have?" He chuckled.

She set the cub on the ground. "I guess that's true." she replied with a grin. "this is our new addition to the pack." she told him as she dnudged him playfully.

"Hello." He mumbled to the cub. He had never been good with the young ones.

She smilled up to him, and purred loudly, like a kitten next to a fireplac with a ball of yarn and some milk.

"it's nice to meet you cub, I'm, Konear." He smiled, his large teeth making it difficult to actually seem friendly and not threatening.
