"Good idea," she agreed, and peeked into her backpack. She pulled out a water bottle. "Um... Can we go north?" she suggested.
Liam
Liam gritted his teeth and growled softly. He'll get himself killed anyways, he thought, trying to calm himself.
Star
Star rolled her eyes at Josh, and turned back to Zack. "Killing isn't everything, you imbecile!" she shrieked. "Do you want to starve and dehydrate!? It's called strategy, you... you... you nimrod!"
Ryan
Ryan shrugged. "She's right. Besides, you gotta give 'em credit. They can kill a couple of themselves off before we start."
Paige
"Red-ear?!" she asked loudly, confused as she trailed behind James. As she ran, she touched her finger ti her ear and pulled it back. Her finger was covered in blood, and her knees went a little wobbly.
Heather
"O-okay..." she said in disbelief, shaking Hazel's hand. She backed away slowly and gave Hazel a look of gratitude. She turned around and ran away, her hair flowing behind her.
Ace
Ace wiped his eyes, and turned Skylar over so she faced the sky. He closed her eyes and crossed her arms. He kissed her forehead lightly and stood up. "Bye," he whispered, his voice breaking. He walked away slowly, and hung his head. After a while, he realized he was subconsciously following signs of water, an came upon a small pond, and sat next to it to drink. He realized he didn't have anything to carry water in, so he just sat there for a moment. He pulled up some reeds, and absently wove something tightly so he could carry water, and filled it up, sighing.
Finn
Finn screams echoed through parts of the arena. "Kendall... I can't believe this," he huffed. "You... you really are their playing piece. This isn't a fight to the death, this is a fight to live. I'd rather die with dignity than win by doing just what they want you to," he scoffed weakly. He closed his mouth and his eyes, and he winced. He was in extreme pain, and he hoped his family was turning away. There was no way he cold live. But at least if Kendall won, she might realize that she really was just a piece in their games. His breathing slowed even more now, and his thoughts now centered around pain.

Ember
"Sure," Ember said as she gathered up her things and followed Renee. "I'll have my bow ready in-case we run into someone....though I don't know if I could even kill them..." Ember said, as her brown leather back-pack was behind, on her back with her arrows (in their case type thing). A bow in her arms, one hand holding onto the quiver of it.
Cody
I wonder what I should do next. I have half-a mind to go and try to kill that guy. Cody said as he wished he had a weapon with him. Almost dyeing just changed him. He's gone wild. He was urging to kill someone. To be close to death again. He has been brain-washed so quickly. He used to try to help others (not succeeding though, since he's more of a quiet person). While now he's a thrill killer. Probably not a good one though. In the rush, he yanked off a branch from a tree and threw it across the woods. Smiling, he pulled another branch off, then he sat down with his backpack and searched inside it. Inside, there was a thin blanket, a canteen, and a carving knife. He grabbed ahold of the knife, then he started to sharpen his branch. He had no way of knowing how to throw knifes, but he knew had to throw other things. Then, when he finished with his branch, he slid the knife back into the pack and then slid the pack on himself. With his branch in his right hand, he continued on-ward.
Josh
"So what do you want to do first?" Josh asked Star.
Zack
Zack huffed and said, "Let's get food. I want to kill something, at least if we're hunting, then I get to spear something.." Zack said re-gripping his spears.
James
"Okay, I think they won't be able to find us now. Let's get some food." James said to Paige.
Hazel
Hazel's hair swayed from left to right as she ran. Her mission? To find Ryan. After that? She doesn't know.

Kendall was fuming. Then, the only things she could say were some more cuss words in French, and then, "You will regret everything you've just said. I'm going to have fun with your death." She then stated "Worthless," but in French. (I think I'm going to make this really really bad ) Kendall then heaved Finn up and stood him up on a tree. Then, she (close your eyes young ones) took off her blood drenched clothes and threw them in a pile. Then, in her longere (however it's spelled) she grabbed a knife and stabbed Finn in the back. HARD. Twisting it out of him, she ran backwards, smiling, and thrust it at him as far as she could. Which must be hard, since it almost went totally inside him. She ran back toward him and hissed, "You deserve even more pain." She then gripped her hand around the knife and yanked it out.

(Sorry if it's a little too much for Kendall, I had bad images in my head....I erased even worse ones....)

Renee
"Well, if you can't kill them, let's hope we don't run into anyone, because we can't make alliances with everyone," she joked, grinning. She quickly slid her knife and her rope into her backpack and shrugged it on. She still gripped her bow tight. She led the way, looking from side to side and in the trees. She was deathly paranoid.
Heather
Heather stopped dead in her tracks when she heard a rustling noise. She remained still for a moment; she then turned and inspected her left, which was where the noise had come from. She didn't see anything she hadn't, except for a branch. She heaved a sigh of relief. Then she became worried again. Had someone thrown the branch? Was there another tribute around?
Star
"He's right about that, at least," she rolled her eyes. "We should find some food besides the stuff we got from the Cornucopia.
Paige
"Okay," she sighed. "What kind of food? Plants or animals?"
Ryan
Ryan shrugged in agreement. "They have a point. We can't kill on an empty stomach." He loosened the straps on the backpack he stole from Jay and wore it with one strap.
Liam
Liam stared down at the ground, scowling. That was his only knife, and he had just missed. He looked from side to side, stashed his spear and his canteen into his backpack, and hung the backpack from a branch. Holding tightly to the tree, he scurried down and quickly found his knife. He slid it into the back of his pants, blade up, (like cops do with guns) and climbed slowly up.
Finn
(I JUST WANNA KNOW WHY SHE'S WEARIN' FANCY PANTIES. XD )
Finn's knuckles were white from being clenched together, and upon having a knife thrown into his back, he gasped and unclenched them, and let go of the tree. He breathed hard, and had no more energy to plead Kendall to stop, or to even tell her she was being insane. He tried to scream, but his throat was dry and his vocal cords were exhausted. He wobbled and fell to the ground in a faceplant (face-first). His soaked back heaved up and down, and shuddered. His breathing slowed, and it became dark and blurry as his eyes filled with tears. He was going to die, that much was clear from the first wound. Small trails formed on his face where his tears had slid. He closed his eyes and inhaled. He groaned. He could hear his heart beating, and it slowed as more crimson blood flowed out. "Why?" he rasped, though it was hardly understandable through his breathing. He shuddered, waited for Kendall to injure him further, or to run out of blood.

(Yeah... We're going to take you to the special house, mmkay? They have fancy jackets there, and lots of smart doctors and silly friends!)

Ember
Ember grinned a bit at Renee's joke and followed. After about 30 feet, she heard a crunch of wood chips on the ground. "Aaaah!" She screamed as a rabbit appeared. Without looking at what it was she fired an arrow, (well she really just let go to plead for mercy....but let's just say she killed the rabbit on purpose ) "Well, here's some dinner. Oh, and sorry I screamed." Ember said as she picked the lifeless rabbit up and yanked out her arrow from it's heart. She placed the dirty arrow back in her quiver. (I thought quiver was the stretchy band attached to the bow..)
Zack
"I'm more then just looks." Zack said. "Let's go South!" He commanded as he took off in his direction, a spear ready in position.
Josh
"Well at least this guys modest." Josh muttered to Star.
James
James hunched his shoulders and said, "Uh, do you know what plants are good? Because I don't, so we could always hunt, that is, I don't know how to do that either..."
Kendall
(THEY'RE COMFY! AND THE CAPITOL HAD GREY ONES...HER FAVORITE COLOR! I DON'T HEAR FINN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PANTIES OR THE "BANANA" (bra)! XD)
"How else do you want to die?" Kendall asked, flaunting a knife in her left hand. Without waiting for an answer, she took her knife and made a cut in Finn's stomach. Then she reached inside and planted the knife inside him. "Sweet dreams," She muttered as she gathered her things and disappeared into the night.

(Nope, that's just the string. :3 )
"Oh, it's okay, if anyone heard it, we can take 'em down if we have to." She smiled gratefully at her. "Do you want me to carry it?" she offered.
Star
Star scowled at him, but made no objection. She turned to the other careers with pleading eyes, and whispered, "Can't we just hit him in the back of the head or something with a huge rock? No one would have to know."
Ryan
Ryan snorted at both Star and Zack, but followed Zack anyways.
Paige
"Well, I know the plants that are bad... And I think we could hunt if we both tried."
Finn
( XD Oh gosh. )
Finn groaned. He clutched his abdomen and let out a gasp. He opened his eyes slowly and stared at her. He turned over and coughed into his hand, and when he pulled it away he couldn't tell if the blood was from his cough, his stomach, or his many back wounds. He huffed and he puffed, but his breathing finally s l o w e d . . . and stopped altogether. His heart pumped one final time. He shut his eyes, finally accepting his death. His body stopped working...

but the brain still works seven minutes after death, and he was left alone with his morbid, terrifying thoughts.

"No, I got it." She said as she heaved it over her shoulder.
Zack
"If we got rid of him though, who would we have to constantly hate? Oh yeah, STAR!" Zack said over his shoulder. He didn't care what she said, but he always got the final painful word......
Josh
Josh followed silently. He wasn't sure if he could follow killing people like the other careers, but he wanted to stay with them.
James
"Okay, what weapons do you have that can help with hunting?" James asked her.
Penelope
Penelope finally left her river and walked around the woods, wondering about Tea. Penelope's ill grandmother was the only family member left, so she was currently watching Tea. Some times, Tea could be rambuncious, so she worried about how her grandma was doing. (I think if Penelope lasts longer, that the capital will send her a note (pretending like it's a sponser) that informs her about Tea dying)
Kendall
Two? Two! I need to kill more then that! I want to kill more then just two! ......I guess I should get some water and different food, then I'll be off to kill, kill, kill, torture, kill. Kendall thought as ran/did acrobatic acts. Her first task was to get some water. Finn's blood kept her going for a bit, but she needed water energy for killing.
Nick
I'm so bored. I'm so confussed. Nick thought, as he sat on a rock. He needed water. But the only lake he knew of was the one at the Cornecopia. Finally, he gathered his things, slung his canteen over his shoulder, and walked back to the blood bath area. When he was there, he filled his canteen, while watching for others, and then left.

"Okay," she said, and kept walking northward.
Star
"If we got I got rid of you, we'd all love me," she growled quietly to herself.
Paige
Paige gulped as she realized she didn't have any. "I was chasing after you," she whispered, silently scolding herself harshly.

Ember
Hearing the cannons, Ember began to wonder who died. Was there anyone she really hoped would live? She tried to remember. There was Audrey, no Aubrey, because she was so little, Ashley, same reason, Renee, of course, and..Nike? Nicki? No. It started with a N, though. There were probably others, since it's hard really to want someone to die, unless there mad-killers. "Who do you think died? I didn't see any that I can remember." (let's make them find a stream.)
James
James nodded thoughtfully and said, "Well you did that to be safe. I got none either, so let's check my backpack." James said as he pulled the pack off of him and opened it to find 3 knifes, a blanket, and some dried berries. "Are these bad ones? I can kinda imagine them to put poisonous berries in the bags just to get us to die, since we'd be to stupid to look and see what we eat." James said as he held the berries up.
Ashley
Ashley trudged along behind Jasper. Knowing that one of those cannons were for Aubrey. That Aubrey was dead. Lifeless. Gone. And, she was Ashley's age. Was that Ashley's future? Would the fifth cannon be Ashley? Ashley some blood from her head dripped down to her left elbow.
Zack
Kneeling, Zack held a spear in ready position. Waiting for a rustle, movement, a sound. Every little bit counted. Then, hearing and seeing a rustle in the trees, Zack jumped high and threw his spear at the thing. Falling to the ground, a rabbit with a spear in it's head, whimpered. Zack huffed, and kicked the poor creature. Enraged, he yanked his spear out of it's head and threw the bunny he, HE, caught, at Ryan. He didn't catch BUNNIES! He caught lions.....such as Star....
Hazel
Running around, Hazel finally stopped. What could she do? Jay's gone. Ryan did it. Did she dare kill Ryan? Ignore her code she set for herself before the games started. "I won't kill a single person. I'll at least try to hide and live through it while everybody else is at each other's throats. She didn't know what to do. She just felt like she had to. Then, and only then could she rest in piece. With Jay. ((So when should she kill Ryan?? Next day maybe??))
Penelope
Scared, and cold, Penelope climbed up in a tree in a dancing style. Setting her sleeping bag in a branch and tying the bungy cord to the tree (for safety) she jumped in and began to rest. (it's late afternoon I guess)

Zipping up her jacket over her "Bannana" bra, and pulling on her pants, she took out another knife and smiled. Two of those cannons were her's. If only there were 23 cannons that sounded. That would accomplish her goal. "My goal? To kill all those other tributes in 1 minute flat!" Kendall remembered happily back to the interview. Then, she skidded over and tried to remember her fellow killers interviews. Some people that annoyed her especially were Ember, Renee (one reason because she's jealous of her looks), Aubrey, Ashley, FINN, Jasper, Nick, Josh, Penelope, Ace, Skylar, Jay, Hazel, Ryan, Liam, Zack, Star, Derek, Cody, Mae, James, and Paige. Oh wait! That's all of them. And that's true!

(Okay)
Renee frowned at the sound of the cannons, but she kept walking slowly. Four people... Was it a good thing? Now there were less tributes... Or is it a bad thing? Are there too many left? Renee replied to Ember's question and said, "Well, I didn't see anyone get killed but I saw people running... I guess we'll find out tonight when the anthem plays." She sighed quietly. Renee kept walking when suddenly, they heard a trickling sound. They stepped closer, and ta-da! It's a stream!
Paige
"No, I don't think so. Besides, they like to encourage more bloody deaths."
Jasper
"You okay?" he asked her absently, trudging along.
Star
Star giggled. "Wow. Very manly. You caught... Fluffy!" she mocked.
Ryan
Ryan caught the rabbit in his hand and sighed. "I can do better than that," he gritted his teeth.

Ember
"Water!" Ember exclaimed, only loud enough for Renee and her to her. She plopped the rabbit down and dumped her canteen full of the water, then gulped down all of it. She re-gained more water into the canteen and suggested, "Do you think we should make a little trail, so we can remember where the water is?"
James
"Yeah, we're so bad, teaming up." He joked as he popped a berry in his mouth, to make sure it was safe for Paige. Then, horror struck. His left hand reached for his neck as he began to choke, face red, mouth open for any chance of breath.................what a good actor.......This was just all an act for Paige. When she reached to try to help, he smiled and blurted out, "Just kidding! Their perfectly safe!"
Ashley
Snapping back to reality, Ashley answered, "Uh...yeah, just dirty." She wiped her blood-soked arm on her shirt, and zipped her jacket up, as a whisk of cold air caught her.
Zack
Enraged, Zack flung a spear in right grunting. Without looking, he heard Star gasp. Turning around, he saw he caught a wild turkey, right in the eye ball. Pleased, he picked the prize up and shouted, "Yeah! Mock all you want! At least I got us food, in only two tries, nailing each one! I don't see any animals that you've caught yet!" Then he turned to Ryan and hissed, "Bet not! I actually thought you'd die in the Blood Bath! Or get killed by that little 12 year-old, green eyed girl!" Zack slapped the rabbit out of Ryan's hand stumped on it's head, punching it out of it's socket.
