"Thank you," she murmured. She shut her eyes and pulled her arm back. "I'm sorry, Kimber..." A tear slipped out of her right eye as she threw the spear.

The pain was instantly. It rushed threw her veins rapidly, as she acquired enough strength to pull the spear from her, and place her hands folded over her wound. As if she was sleeping. Finally, her heart stopped, and the pain ended. No more Ember Smith. Her cannon fired.

Her breathing quickened rapidly as she realized what she had just done. "NO!" she shrieked. She kicked a tree. She slammed her head against the tree. "NONONONONONONONO!" She sunk to the ground and trembled.

Josh came just in time. There, he saw the dead Ember and Star. Who was dead? They both were on the ground.....no wait, Star moved... he thought as he crept forward. "Are you okay?" he asked, as he came closer to Star and put his hand on her shoulder.

"No," she whispered weakly, shaking. She clutched the pouch in her hand.

"What do you have there?" he asked, pointing to the pouch, trying to re-direct from Ember's death.

Star sniffled and sat up. She unzipped the pouch and peered inside. She gasped. "You could have died..."

"what are you talking about?" he asked, obviously confuesed.

"Berries..." She showed him the contents of the pouch. "You almost ate these earlier..."
