Ryan sighed and wiped his forehead. "Finally," he said, hopping off of the chariot. "That was painful."
Finn
Finn stared at her, because he'd never heard someone actually growl... He smiled softly when their chariot pulled forward.
Liam
Liam nodded, and gulped. He peered out from under his bangs. Were they sponsors, or just people excited to watch him die?
Star
Star put on a big, cheesy smile and waved to the crowd.
Jay
"Yeah, but he looked like a lobster," he mused. He fiddled with his thumbs as the chariot took off.
Mae
Mae peeked down at Derek's hand, twitching towards her, and she blushed. She slapped his hand before she knew what she was doing. "Um, sorry," she apologized quietly, and blushed bright red.
Renee
Renee looked down at her feet and sighed. She was scared for the task ahead. "Are you... afraid?" she asked meekly.
Jasper
"There's nothing to be nervous of yet," he comforted so quietly so inly she could hear.
Heather
Heather fell hard to the ground, hitting her head. Her hands flew up to her face, and several guards from the Capitol raced over to check and see if she was alright and another man approached Zack.
Capitol Man
"Young man, did you push her?" he asked in a deep, intimidating voice. "That is against the rules, young man."

All the chariots finished their cycles except for Zack and Heather's.

Zack

"I did not." Zack said calmly. "She has a medical condition, where she does crazy stunts to gain attention. She won't ever admit it though, she even forgets that she did it some times and blames others!" Zack explained cooly. He heaved Heather up the chariot in front of the Capitol Man and then the chariot rolled off, without another word.

All the chariots finished and now their somewhere in their hotel-type thing room, but together, so maybe in the hall...etc.

Capitol Man
The man raised his eyebrow, but let the chariot follow the rest.
Heather
After the cycle, she hopped off of the chariot, ran to the elevator, and quickly shut the doors. She fell against the walll and set her head in her hands. "My plan has to work," she scolded herself. The door dinged and opened, and she slowly walked out and back to her room, but stopped when she saw the crowd of tributes. She joined the crowd.

Nick

"Uh, Renee? I kinda have something important to ask you. Do you think we could go outside to the balcony, so it's a little more private?" Nick asked, in a tone that Renee could tell he was nervous about something.

Renee
"Um, sure..." she said. She grabbed his hand and led him out to the balcony. "What is it?" she asked curiously, but a little afraid.

Nick

"Well I was wondering if you could well, help me try to win Ember over. I...sorta...have a big crush on her." Nick said shyly, looking at the ground, sheepishly.

Renee
"Well, I can try, I mean, I can't promise anything, but..." she held his hand in hers and gave it a squeeze. "I'll make sure you two are together, before... you know..." she trailed off, letting her arm go limp, letting go of his hand.

"Thanks," Nick said. "Do you have any advice also on how to 'woo' her?" Nick asked.

Renee
"Well, um... compliment her, not if she's trying to kill you though, really don't use any of these in that situations, don't use pick-up lines, try to be a shoulder for her to cry on, but whatever you do: DON'T. GET. FRIENDZONED."
