Jax watched him dance, the first movements a shock when he realized this was more of a girls dance then one for a teenage guy. but still, as he continued watching he was amazed at how natural it looked. Each movement was flowing, clean, and making you want to watch more. by the end he couldn't help but smile slightly to himself, this was one of those 'don't judge a book by its cover' moments.
As Luka walked back over to him he nodded, clapping for a few seconds. "Well... to say the least it was not what I was expecting. But still, you managed to give it a very interesting and natural feel." he commented with a smile. "as far as I can tell you did amazing, especially for a teen guy dancing a girls dance." he added. "I must say that was very, very well done!" he exclaimed removing the towel from his shoulders and putting it back in his bag. "Do you mind me asking, why do you dance to those types of dances? I'm not at all saying it looks bad, it looks amazing, but a interesting choice for a guy if you know what I mean." he asked curiously.

Luka let out a small laugh at the positive feedback and gave a little joking bow. "Well, thanks- I'm glad I got a helpful review from someone." He said in all honesty. He could never really form an opinion of his dances on his own other than if he felt he did good or bad, so it was nice to hear from another party. He was walking back over to his bag to get his water bottle when Jax asked why he had danced to a dance originally, and quite obviously, made for female dancers. He looked back over at the black haired boy, caught a bit off guard by he question. "Well... that's. This was for a performance my friend, Christelle, is doing. I'm filling in for an injured dancer." He informed the other, taking hold of his water bottle and taking a swig from it. "I, I'm also told... that I'm good at them- but I can do other dances too!" He spoke, using a voice of declaration on that last part of the sentence.

Jax smiled "I could never dance like that, well I could, but it would look horrible. Your lucky you have such talent..." Jax said his last words a whisper as his mind went back to the reason he was here. "I'm only here because of luck, I don't really have any talent." he added.
with a sigh he pushed himself to his feet, grabbing his black bag and slinging it over his shoulder. "Well, thanks again for letting me dance for a bit, I really appreciate it." he said with a nod before heading to the door. Just as he reached it he glanced back "Best of luck for your dance!" he called to Luka with a smile, opening the door and walking out, heading down to the cafe to see if he could buy something to eat. Missing supper was taking its toll on him and he heard his stomach growl in hunger.

Luka appeared to be quite pleased with the praise he was recieving, giving Jax a large smile. However, he was a bit taken back when the other claimed to be here just due to luck. "You've gotta be kidding! I think you're really good. You definitly have talent; I know a bunch of guys who wouldn't be able to pull off what you did." He exclaimed, trying to give words of encouragement to the other. For many people at this school he wouldn't have said such things, but this guy seemed pretty nice and Luka didn't find any real reason to dislike, let alone be rude to this guy.

He found himself wondering if Jax truly believed he had no talent, or if he just had a modest character as said boy was headed out the door. To be honest he was pretty much finished up with the practice room as well, "Thanks, any time." He called back, the smile still lingering on his lips. He went back into the practice room for a few more minutes to clean up and sit in the silence for a moment, going over in his head what little mistakes he might have made that could be fixed. They might not have been noticeable with him alone, but if he got any footing wrong, it'd be noticeable when he was dancing with the group. After about ten minutes he called it quits on the brain storming, deciding he couldn't think with only a small salad in his stomach. He found himself grabbing his bag and walking over to the cafe, which commonly stayed open for long hours due to lingering dancers after the normal lunch and dinner hours.

Jax quickly bought himself a sandwich and a bottle of coke before slipping onto a seat a a table and pulling his papers from his bag, reading them over as he ate the food, the hunger soon disappearing. His eyes focused on that one movement he couldn't get right, reading over the notes beside it. Left, cross, right, left, under, practice more, get it right next time, study this, and more was scribbled around it. He sighed, running over the movement in his head, when he though about it he got it right but when he did it he messed up, his body just wouldn't move that way at that speed and angle.
He sighed deeply , wondering how he would ever perfect this movement. He glanced up from his paper seeing the guy from earlier walk into the cafe, he watched him as he headed to the counter before looking back down at his work. He needed to find a way to memorize this...

Once Luka was at the counter which was serving various food items, he went straight for the home-made apple pie slices he had spotted earlier. Feeling like he deserved a treat for no special reason, he grabbed two fairly sized pieces along with a bottle of pink lemonade. His sweet tooth was pretty much screaming with joy. If only it was cake instead. Then again, he did have to watch what he ate, being a dancer and all like everyone else at the school. Luka then, as usual, gave the room quick glance over. He never really expected to find anyone to sit with, though occasionally there was a nice group of girls that he knew through Chrissy or some people to sit with. It was mostly empty right now, seeing as how many students were either in their dorms or spending the rest of their day’s energy on dancing. A certain person caught his eye though, the boy who he had just watch dance and then danced for. He let out a quick sigh before deciding to walk over to the table. "Mind if I sit?"

Jax glanced up as he heard a familiar voice, "Oh, ya, sure, be my guest...." he said shifting to a more 'polite' manner and putting his papers down on his bag. "Done practicing?" he asked with a small smile, his mind still on his dance and not focused. He took a drink from his coke and examined the bubbling liquid, even the bubbles were dancing....running up and down the sides of the bottle like footsteps, dance steps..teasing him. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts and put the bottle down, looking back up.

Luka returned the smile once he was sitting and used the side of his fork to cut off the tip of once of his slices of pie. He scooped in onto the utensil, which he then oh-so-happily guided into his mouth. He pulled the fork out of his mouth and chewed his food, and being the mannered boy he was, simply nodded as a reply to the question Jax asked. "Yeah, I wanted to come back here while there was still some pie left." He explained once he swallowed. The reason could, in some ways, be considered a bit childish, but it was the truth.

"Oh, well, I guess I would do the same if they actually sold good coffee!" he exclaimed with a grin. Then leaning back in his seat he watched Luka curiously, "Why did you start dancing?" he asked his head tilted to one side. He knew why he was here...luck. But most of the other students got here ether from a scholarship, talent, or by their parents paying thousands of dollars....His story was nothing like theirs, and if Luka asked, he would tell.

"That is why I keep my own coffee maker in my room." Luka said, opening his bottle of lemonade and taking a sip. He swallowed and paused for a moment to go over and form a quick response to the sudden question. "Oh, well I started young as a hobby since it was fun and people told me I was good at it," he began to address the initial question. "Though as to why I'm here, my aunt is friends with the principle. She got me an audition and thanks to that I'm here on scholarship basically- since my parents would never be able to pay for this. I guess I kinda got lucky... I wouldn't have been able to get in if it wasn't for my aunt." He explained. After taking another bite of pie he looked back up at Jax. 'What about you?" He asked.
