Luka watched carefully as the other danced. Now, one might have thought of this as some sort of stalkerish stare, though it was common to keep a close eye on other dancers. After all, this was a competitive school, and with a competition coming up- one that he was actually considering entering this year- he was determined to learn what he could from the movements of others. This trance like state of his was broken and in the end he was able to draw the conclusion that this guy had definite talent. He rested his chin on his hand while sitting on the free area of the bench. "Eh... You made a mistake? I wouldn't have been able to notice from it, you were good." He assured the near stranger in all honesty. Over on the side of the room where his bag was he then heard a faint vibrating. Knowing very well it was his best friend, Christelle ( who attended the school as well ), he hurried over to it and saw it was a phone call. He gave the boy who had just finished dancing a quick hand gesture to tell him to stay for a minute and then picked up.
" So hey, I won't be able to come in today to practice that dance with you- but you're already fine and you watched the MV for the song millions of times before so it's all good, right?" That was the instant reply to his picking up of the phone. He hadn't even gotten a chance to say 'hello' or anything of the sort. It was quite obvious to him Christelle was busy at the moment, seeing as how for once she was getting to the point of something.
"Y-yeah. But do I really have to? Can't the dancer just magically fix her leg or something?" He whined. Their school was sending a group of girl dancers over to represent their school over to an all-girls middle school in a week or so and one of the dancers had been injured. The dance they had chosen happened to be under the category of K-pop, which Luka constantly kept up with as he liked to be in touch with his culture and such. Therefore Christelle, already in the group, asked him to fill in as he already knew most of the dance by heart. Even so, it was a girls dance.
Usually Luka wasn't one to care about this, but he was already considered 'girlish' enough, and while he truly enjoyed dancing to that and many people didn't judge, he knew there were people who did. He could even name a few family members who'd go raising eyebrows if they knew he went learning dances by girl groups in his spare time. Heck, there were even a few of the tougher guys who did strictly 'manly hip-hop' type stuff who could be labeled as bullies. Though when he was on stage performing, all those worries were blown away and he danced those dances with all the spunk and confidence in the world.
"I'll buy you those shoes you've been wanting." His friend bribed.
"Fine, deal." Luka said quickly without hesitation after hearing the mention of owning his curent most wanted item(s) without needing to pay with his own money. He hung up shortly after that and turned back to the one he was currently sharing the room with.
"Would you mind just watching me dance for a minute. I just want to make sure I can perform this good for an audience."
{{ Lol, it is going to have to be a girl dance mainly because I couldn't find any others- many of his dances will be because he can just pull stuff off like that. }}
