Hayley squeaked as he squeezed her tightly. "As long as I am your teddy bear, I am happy." She said with a smile, snuggling up closer to his warm body and curling up. Her head and body rested against him and her one of her hands rested on his chest. "Love you."

[Laundry Detergent.]

"Love you more..", he murmured, then closed his eyes. He fell asleep quickly, snoring lightly, and taking in quiet breaths. He didn't move in his sleep, and he had no dreams at all.

Hayley fell asleep after he did, still closely against him. She was silent, her breaths from her nose softly hitting hit chest. The movie still played in the background, but it was quiet and it was the only light source in the room.

Jack slowly went up the stairs to their room. He checked his watch, it was only late afternoon, so they probably wouldn't be asleep. He checked his pockets: a gun, knife, and ammo were stuffed inside. Along with a small needle, so he could pick the lock. He took the needle from his pocket, inserting it into the keyhole and twisting it around. He heard a click, and he silently opened the door. He tiptoed in, the first thing he saw was them asleep on the bed. He smirked, then went over to the side the girl was on. Knowing his son, he knew James was a deep sleeper, and that he wouldn't wake up unless you dragged him out of bed. He took the knife from his pocket, then pinched the girl awake. He immediately covered her mouth with his hand, then crouched down beside her. He pressed the knife to her throat, then whispered in her ear: "Don't make any sudden movement. And do exactly as I say.", he said, pressing the knife harder against her throat. He looked at his son, who hadn't even budged.

Hayley opened her eyes and glanced up when she felt the pinch, and opened her eyes wider when she felt a hand go over his mouth. She glanced over nervously and saw James's father, with a knife against her throat. Her look changed from shock, to fear in a matter of seconds, but she didn't move or make a sound. She just waited for him to tell her what to do.

"I want you to get up, then write a note to James saying you've run away. Do you understand?", he whispered again, still eyeing his son, who had started snoring a little louder. He moaned quietly in his sleep, then buried his face in the pillow.

After he finished speaking, Hayley shook her head 'no'. "No, he will be crushed if I tell him that.." She said in a whisper, attempting to move herself away from the man and his knife. She knew he would force her to do it anyways, or hurt her until she did.

Jack took in a deep breath, then pulled her back. He pressed the blade deeper into her skin. "Do it. Or I'll kill you both right now.", he whispered angrily, then clenched his jaw.

Hayley shrunk back in fear but got up as gently as she could, searching the apartment for a pen and piece of paper. When she found them both, she held the pen in her hand while her hand was shaking. She began to write on the piece of paper, her eyes tearing up at the words and how he would react to them. It read, "Dear, James. I love you, I really do, but I can't do this. I need to be by myself, at home. Please, don't come looking for me, I don't want to hurt you any more than I already am. I am sorry...Hayley." She said, her eyes just glaring at the letter.

Jack snatched the letter from her, then put it on her pillow. He grabbed her by the arm, slipping the knife back into his pocket. He dragged her out of the hotel room, closing the door behind him. He dragged her to the stairwell, then practically ran down them, pulling her along with him.
