Byakuya held renji. "Now when ever I'm not with you, you have someone to keep you company." He said.

Renji smiled. He kissed his partners cheek, then settled further down into Byakuyas embrace. After a while, the brute began to fall asleep, completely relaxed.

Byakuya held renji as he settled down and closed his eyes only to have a rude awakening after about midnight as aibou licked his face and whined.

Renji grumbled, feeling Aibou lick his face and whine in his ear. "Wha?" he muttered, trying to push the persistent puppy away slightly.

"He's probably got to go outside. I'll take him." Byakuya said, grabbing aibou and slipping free of renji before taking the pup outside.

Renji flopped down onto the couch, nodding as Byakuya took the puppy outside.

Byakuya stood outside sleepily, watching aibou sniff around as he closed his eyes and yawned loudly.

Renji passed out again, too tired. The meds were making him drowsy.
