"Want something to wash it down?" Byakuya ask.

Renji nodded, and got up to go get it himself. He downed a glass of milk, then came back out to sit next to Byakuya again.

Byakuya pulled renji close again once he returned.

"So..." Renji drawled, looking at Byakuya as he laid his head down on the mans lap. "Whats my present?"

"You'll get to see it soon." Byakuya said as he gently petted renji's head. He remembered the time he went all googily eyes for a small animal in the living world called a dog or puppy and how the week after he went on forever how it was cute and stuff.

Renji quirked a brow, but sighed and settled down, looking up at the ceiling.

Byakuya rubbed renji's arm soothingly but looked over his shoulder hearing the small barks coming from the kitchen.

Renji perked, sitting up.

Byakuya looked away innocently as another bark sounded then a few whimpers along with the sound of metal against tile.

"You didnt..." Renji whispered, then hopped off the couch to go and see the little puppy in the kitchen.
