"We'll change the world.."

Eric nodded and glanced at their surroundings, a sandy beach and palm trees. There didn't seem to be any type of mortals around. "Are you okay?" he asked Tsume. There seemed to be a bruise on Eric's hand, nothing else at least, for now. There was a small moan and Kyra shifted onto her side. She must have been regaining consciousness. Zephyr landed and morphed into a cheetah, padding over to Kyra worriedly.

{Hopeful}
"I can feel your heartbeat..."

Tsume shrugged. "I could've gotten worse." he said simply. He was alerted by Kyra letting out a moan, and he looked at her as she turned on to her side. "She is gonna have a nasty headache when she wakes up." he said, grimacing at the bruises on her face. He then glanced at Paris, who was still completely unconcious. "Where are we going to rest for the night?" he asked, looking back at Eric.

"...Running through my veins."

"An ache I still remember.."

When Kyra opened her eyes again she saw bright skies and palm trees lazily waving in the soft breeze. She was on her side in soft sand. Blinking a few times she tried to clear her head of its headache. Shifting onto her back again she rubbed her eyes and stared at the sky until the spots were gone. Good news was they were all alive and it was warmer here. Not exactly feeling like moving yet Kyra laid there exhaustedly, trying to ignore the massive headache.

"We'll change the world.."

Eric looked over to Paris again before returning his eyes to Tsume. "Maybe in those trees over there, I don't see any type of city around." he suggested. Kyra shifted again, this time onto her back with her eyes open. Glad to see she was somewhat okay he stretched out his legs, wincing as they started to fall asleep. "What do you think?" he asked Tsume, he was much more of a leader, unlike him.

{Confused}
"You are beautiful..."

Paris slowly but gradually regained conciousness. She kept her eyes closed though and didn't move. She listened quietly to what the guys were saying, hardly registering their words. She suddenly realized with a jolt that there was sand beneath her. She sat up, taking shaky breaths after opening her eyes. She winced and lied back down, trying to ignore the pain in her left shoulder. She began coughing violently again, her body shaking.

Tsume nodded, but was surprised ot see Paris sit up suddenly. He stared at her in suprise until she returned to lying on her back, wincing. He furrowed his eyebrows and got to his feet. "Come on, we should probably get a move on." he said.

"...Running through my veins."

Kyra Denault|*|Ares|*|Zephyr|*|Dizzy

"An ache I still remember.."

Kyra slowly sat up, feeling quite dizzy now. Rubbing the large bruise on her forehead she bit her lip and gave Zephyr a pat. The guardian purred and helped her slowly stand to her feet. "What way..?" she asked in a shaky hoarse voice. She looked for her bag before she remembered the shipwreck and the storm. They had no possessions. Luckily she did have her two swords and compass.

"We'll change the world.."

Eric nervously shot a glance at Kyra who could barely stand, then to Paris. "Paris? Are you alright?" he asked her nervously, Kyra was getting enough help from Zephyr. Hosanna let out a startled snort and kicked out her back feet. Eric tapped her hind-quarters and she calmed down, still twitching nervously. Eric stood now and stood over Paris.

{Tired}
"You are beautiful..."

Paris nodded slowly as she sat up again, this time avoiding putting weight on her left arm. With a grunt of effort, she climbed to her feet, feeling slightly dizzy. She avoided his gaze, knowing her eyes would give away the pain she was in. "Which way are we going?" she asked, trying to remember when they had reached the beach, but failing. She had been unconcious at the time, so there was no way for her to remember that now. She gazed across the water, blinking. "Where's Night?" she asked suddenly. Night had already left the water and came up behind Paris. The black panther was damp, as though she had gotten out of the water not long ago. She pressed her muzzle to the back of Paris' leg, letting out a small purr. Paris felt relief flood through her body as she turned and kneeled down next to her. She patted Night's head softly before turning back to Eric.

Tsume stod next to Kyra, ready to catch her in case she fell again. "You feeling okay?" he asked, watching her closely. His own guardian, Titan, was by his side, in wolf form.

"...Running through my veins."

"An ache I still remember.."

"Never been better." Kyra replied sarcastically before looking at him, trying to hide the emotions in her eyes. Yes, she was in a lot of pain, but she hated to show it. "Thanks for, uh, helping me on Night.." she said to him quietly, only loud enough for him to hear. Slowly she drew her compass off her neck and whispered something to it. The needle started to spin.

"We'll change the world.."

Eric held a hand out for her to steady herself. "Are you going to be able to move?" he asked her and bit his lip nervously. She had to be able to walk in able for them to move. Hosanna morphed back into a mouse and climbed up his jeans until she sat on his head, still damp and sandy.

"You are beautiful..."

Paris eyed his hand for a moment before placing hers in it as she felt herself stumble slightly. "I think I'll make it." she said softly, letting out a small sigh. She bit back a small smile when Hosanna climbed on to his head. "It appears Hosanna is ready to go" she said sarcastically, hoping to lighten the mood.

"Don't worry about it." Tsume replied gently, glancing at the compass she held. "Magical, I'm guessing?" he questioned, watching carefully as she whispered into it and the needle started to turn.

"...Running through my veins."

"An ache I still remember.."

"A gift from my father." Kyra told him, her icy eyes intent on the needle. It landed on a picture of a manticore, delicately carved into the top of the compass. "The nearest town is north." she told Tsume. North was the manticore, east was the hydra, south the Minotaur and west the chimera. She could clearly remember herself at a young age and her father explaining this to her.

"We'll change the world.."

Eric helped her keep balance with his hand, trying to ignore Hosanna jumping around in his hair. "I hope so." he replied half-heartedly, not wanting to go himself. Imagine what there was out there! Hydras, gorgons, maybe even the Kindly Ones.

"You are beautiful..."

"Thanks" Paris murmured, quietly moving her hands away from his once she was stable. "Are you two ready?" she asked, looking over at Tsume and Kyra. Her blonde hair was still damp, but at least it was drying. And she could finally feel the warmth of the air, and was enjoying it while it lasted. She tried not to think about what creatures they might run in to, looking for the bright side in this. But there was no bright side that she could find.

"Ares, right?" Tsume asked curiously. He glanced at Paris and Eric when she called his attention. "I'm ready, are you?" he asked Kyra, forgetting about the slight pain in his arm. He shifted his weight from one foot to another, looking at her calmly.
