Itachi sighed slightly "Here goes nothing." he leapt forwards.

Pein smiled back at her, then headed outside of the hideout and into the woods.

Leiko followed behind Itachi silently, wondering how this was going to go.

Suzume looked around, already able to hear and see some of the little songbirds;
she grinned and whistled a greeting, without hesitation, several of them chirped back.

Itachi looked behind him "It'll be alright." he murmured.

Pein listened silently, enjoying hearing the birds and Suzume.


.: Leiko :.

Leiko nodded silently as she looked up at Itachi, thinking about something.

Suzume giggled and chirped a certain tune, several of the birds faltered, but one steady chirp echoed back; a solitary little sparrow fluttered down and landed on Suzume's hand "Oshii-kun!"

Itachi's brow furrowed "Leiko-chan...you okay?"

Pein watched silently, and looked down at the small sparrow that had landed on Suzume's hand.

Leiko looked at Itachi, and blinked. "Yeah, I'm just thinking."

Suzume giggled and whistled to him, Oshii sang back before looking to Pein with interest.
Suzume grinned.

Itachi nodded "Alright."

Pein watched Oshii, just as curious about the bird as it was about himself.

Leiko fell silent once again as they reached the Hokage's tower, and started to walk up the stairs to the top.

Oshii tipped his head to the side and chirped softly;
Suzume chuckled "He likes you Pein-sama! I'll admit Deidara didn't get such a warm greeting!"

Itachi ran after her.

Pein chuckled softly. "No birds ever like Deidara..."

After going up the stairs, Leiko silently went into the hallway that lead to the Hokage's office.
