She nodded quickly "But...do you mind if I stay, Pein-sama?"

Itachi smirked slightly and put his bowl in the microwave "I'm not pouting." he informed her.

Pein frowned for a second, then sighed. "Fine, but don't bother me." he said, then went back to writing down on the piece of paper in front of him.


.: Leiko :.

"You were a second ago." she said as she started to eat the Ramen. She could still hear that the silver haired guy was trying to get the butter knife back, but she ignored the two, since she didn't exactly want to know what he had been trying to do earlier.

(Suzume: :O -runs around shrieking and trying to get them off-)

"Thanks!" she grinned and licked his hand before shifting into w olf and laying down near his feet.

||Itachi||

He frowmed slightly "Who says?" he retrieved his bowl from the microwave and went to sit next to her;
"By the way...just ignore Hidan and Kakazu..."

Pein sighed silently as he continued to work on the paperwork. She must be planning something... he thought as he looked at her from the corner of his eye with a suspicious look.


.: Leiko :.

"So that's who they are?" she said, looking over at the two. "I'm glad neither of them are that Kisame person..." She then looked back over at her ramen on the table in front of her. "And never mind about the pouty thing, you can just say it annoys me to see others pouting instead of me." She smirked slightly. "It's my job to be pouty, not anybody else's."

Suzume rumbled gently and relaxed, enjoying the warmth and Pein-sama's scent; though it was obvious he greatly disliked her, she found his presense highly reassuring. She closed her eyes and smiled slightly, edging a bit closer to him.

||Itachi||

He smirked and poked her forehead "I should think so...you're the best at it!" he glanced at the pair nearby;
"You should be very glad they aren't your partners..." he agreed.

"I suppose you've seen the new member by now?" Pein said as he finished writing things down on a piece of paper, then started on the next one.


.: Leiko :.

"Yet I haven't gotten a reward for it yet." Leiko said as she did a fake pout, then smirked again. "And I am, I wouldn't want to be stuck with someone who tries to stab themselves with a butter knife, and someone who seems to mutter on about money a lot..."

Suzume jumped slightly and looked up at with sleepy eyes "M-hm. She's really pretty."

||Itachi||

"Would you like a prize?" he chuckled and ruffled her hair;
"Please...a butter knife is better than some of the other things..." he rolled his eyes.

Pein shrugged, then focused back on his work.

"Well, I do deserve one for being the best pouter this world has." she said, amused. "And I don't think I want to know what the other things are...."

She smiled slightly "I think you agree Pein-sama." she teased weakly before flopping her chin down on her paws with a sigh.

"Well, I suppose you deserve one." he smirked "Trust me...you don't..."

"No, I don't even think those things." he said nonchalantly. He hadn't even been that ecstatic about a new member in the first place.

"Exactly, you suppose that since I do." she said as she finished her ramen. "And you haven't introduced me to that Kisame person yet." She was actually slightly curious about who else she would be working.
