Suzume smirked and slipped into Pein's lap "Pein-sama! Can I help with paperwork?" she begged.

Itachi smiled widely "Wonderful! I'm proud of you!" he hugged her tightly.

Pein frowned when Suzume came over and asked to help with the paperwork. What is she planning this time...? he thought, irritated. "Fine." he said.

(O-o Suzume's planning something Mr. Piercings....)


.: Leiko :.

Leiko hugged Itachi back, forgetting about most other things at the moment- even her past, which she usually had on her mind all the time. "He also said that I can work with you and.... whoever your partner is, since we already know each other." she said, remembering she hadn't met who Itachi worked with nowadays.

Suzume nodded quickly, eager "Alright! which ones hould I do?"

"Kisame." Itachi sighed "That's who my partner is."

Pein pointed over towards a stack of papers, each of them having the information for a mission that they had to do. "Sort those out depending on how important each of them are." he said, then went back to what he had been working on earlier.


.: Leiko :.

"Ah," Leiko said, noting that he had sighed when he said the name. "Is that a bad thing...?" Even though she hadn't met this 'Kisame' yet, it wouldn't hurt to ask.

(Lol. I'm surprised Pein hasn't shoved her out of his lap yet...XD)

Suzume nodded again, becoming for excited; she moved the stack closer and began to work.

Itachi smirked "He can be...annoying sometimes. At least I'll get to work with you now though." he ruffled her hair.

(O-o Woops, I totally forgot about that for a second XD)

"And one other thing," Pein said, then shoved Suzume out of his lap. "I am not a chair. Go find something else to sit on." He then went back to the paperwork on his desk.

"Ah, so that's how it is." Leiko said, slightly amused at the thought. She was actually glad now that he had stopped her when she had been about to leave, since she would've probably never come back once again.

Suzume pouted "Please Pein-sama?" she gave him wide eyes "I was comfy!"

Itachi smiled again "Are you hungry Leiko-chan?"

(XD Pein's already had to tolerate 'Whack a Pein', and he isn't planning to have to go through being a chair.)

"No." Pein said simply, not looking up from his work.

"Yeah, kind of." Leiko said, only realizing that just now. She hadn't eaten something was before the fight with Pein, so she was slightly hungry.

Suzume frowned and sat next to his feet, she let her tail whack agains the ground in annoyance as she continued going through the papers.

Itachi smirked "Then let's go get something to eat."

Pein silently looked through the papers scattered all across his desk, slightly irritated by the sound of Suzume's tail whacking against the ground over and over again.

"Okay." Leiko said, still in high spirits due to being able to join the Akatsuki. "You can also introduce me to Kisame while we're out there."
